Who is your favorite anime/manga character and why?

At the current moment, my favorite is Fuko Ibiki from Clannad, with honorable mentions to Haruhi Suzumiya and Kyon from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Crim from .hack//SIGN, and Yasutora Sado (Chad) from Bleach.

My Favorite in Anime?

Lockon Stratos/Neil Dylandy from Gundam 00!

He's the nicest of all the Meisters, since he's open-minded with everyone. He's also very action-y in the battlefield. He's got a good thing in mind, and that is to crush terrorism. Although... he died a quick death ....

His mobile suit is also awesome. Hehe

My favourite at the moment has to be Light Yagami from Death Note. He is very mysterious and deadly, but I have only found out certain things about him and the use of the book through reading the manga, so it does help to look at both when judging the character as good or evil.

My favorite anime/manga character is without any doubt: Madarame Harunobu from Genshiken.
I think he's really funny and he is never shy to reveal his vast knowledge of anime whenever the occasion rises. He痴 a strict otaku and defends his obsession whenever it is attacked.^^

He is very cool though his bizarre figures. And, I like his strength.

So far its Vash the Stampede. That guy is just awesome, funny, cool, great with a gun and yet he's a pacifist! It may be pretty common in anime to just 'kill' with a weapon, but I think it takes real skill to stop someone with a gun without killing them. Vash is the man!

I'd have to say Edward. I mean: He is a prodigy and everything. He's short and cute and very strong. (mentally and physically) Yep, he's my choice.

I would have to say my tops would be Lelouch Lamperouge of Code Geass and Light Yagami of Death Note. Lelouch because he's cool and for Light, because I think he's like Lelouch.

For me it all depends on what I've watched most recently...

My current favourite is Horo from Wolf and Spice... Although I completely acknowledge that she's the fav because I play D&D and my current character is the equivalent of a House cat Oni/Hengeyouki. I keep seeing my character in a couple hundred years as turning out just like her.

Yeah I'm a geek.

Speaking of which... This is a question that has turned my brain a bit. Would my character (who is born in house cat form, and then gains the ability to turn human in adolesence) consider herself? Oni, Hengeyouki? I know that there a couple of different terms and that they all have very specific meanings. Since the game has an asian flare, I'm going for correctness, and I don't want to make the mistake of calling herself by the wrong name...

Ryuk from Death Note. Also, Alucard from Helling is just so damn stylish. Same goes for Dante from Devil May Cry.

Ugh, haven't played D&D too much lol, the only kind of cat I can think of is a garou or a gangrel, both WoD.

Imo, Yagami and Lelouch have their differences, I mean, Lelouch is a global scale schemer, while Yagami is a sissy.

Yeah, and in WoD, if I'm not a vamp, then I'm a kitsune... I play for the intreige not the fighting.

The actual race is Tibbit from the Dragon Magazine... Basically it's nothing but a glorified housecat that can turn human (technically halfling, but it's the close enough for the purpose I'm going for).

Perhaps a good definition of all the terms for ghost, demons, and were creatures is where I need to start... Does anyone know a good place to find those?

I would say Boo from Dragon Ball Z because he's so powerful. Sangohan, Sangoku and Vegeta tried without success to kill him. He was able to destroy Earth and probably the entire galaxy.

On the good side, my favorite character is probably Sangohan. He doesn't have the same power than Sangoku but he's terribly strong when he's angry.
