I have an undying love for Urasawa Naoki, he really knows how to write hard to put down mysteries.
My two favourites are 20th Century Boys and Monster - both are incredible in their own way but 20th Century Boys is just.. chef's kiss

If you haven't read any of his stuff, I highly recommend it.
