my favorite anime character is Setsuna from Angel Sanctuary because even though everyone was against the love between him and his sister, he believed and fought for it...my favorite manga character would have to Shuichi from Gravitation because he fun, loving, caring, and fight for the person he loves, Eiri...

I like Ken Nakajima from You're Under Arrest, Kyo Soma (as if you couldn't tell)from Fruits Basket, Chichiri and Tamahome from Fushigi Yuugi, Inu Yasha, Kagome, and Miroku from Inu Yasha, Ranma Saotome and Ukyo Kuonji from Ranma 1/2, Soichiro Arima and Yukino Miyazawa from Kare Kano, Hinano and Cacao from Trouble Chocolate, there are lots more but I don't think I can list them ALL... way too many

My favorite character is Suzaku no Seishi Tasuki from Fushigi Yuugi !!!

Why, he can窶冲 swim, he hates milk (because his mothers huge breasts nearly suffocated him as an infant HAH), he flames people at random, he窶冱 loud, he窶冱 a brawler, and a drinker, he窶冱 so fast! He窶冱 a fun character, and he窶冱 hysterical窶ｦI have yet to see another get drunk and make buns on their head out of sake cups, and 窶彙reasts!窶

More of his loving qualities would be he窶冱 very mercurial, loyal, he窶囘 do anything for a friend, and he tries to be cheerful in the face of everything, just to make everyone else feel better窶ｦbut when he cries the world moves

Either Spike Spiegel (Cowboy Bebop), or Setsuna Mudo (Angel Sanctuary). Spike because he's just that cool, and Setsuna for the same reason Camui...he didn't care if his love for his sister was "wrong". Gotta have respect for a guy that follows his heart.

A thread back from the dead, mainly because I rather an old thread come back rather than a new one started.

My favourite anime/manga characters are difficult to choose from, but I will go with the following:
Naussica from the manga and the anime - She is a such strong character in both media.
Major Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell, the film and the SAC - Again a female character in a strong lead. She isn't just sexy, but doesn't suffer from some of the angst most other female characters seem to have in other animes. Mind you the males can be just as bad. The prime example being Shinji from Evangelion .
Spike from Cowboy Bebop - As others have said, he is such a cool character. Again in both media

Tsuzuki from Yami no Matsuei cause he's very sweet and caring :3 ....and good looking XD

all the Ouran's host club... you ust have to love them cause all of them are very different

also sailormoon it's abit funny but... she's very nice though a real klutz... but her character is very cute

Kanou Kyosuke (HHWS) a cool , short tempered guy also he's got a nice hair

The main character from Hana Yori Dango damn she got balls

um there are more.. but can't rememeber at the mooment oh yeah and Daisuke and Riku form D. N. Angel they both are sucha nice couple...
