Your well-meant intention is taken well, no offense taken. As for your last comment, see Who is the Hottest Anime male Character in what show ?. I get the feeling that this "female" thread was created in response to, or in the image of, the "male" thread. It's just a harmless, sexual distinction... as is often said, context is everything (gotta love that !)

And by the way, have you asked to those anime heroins if they like that title?! ? ;-)

i think females actually a god choice of words... seeing as a LOT of anime charaters aren't ecactly 'human'... so using 'female' alwos you to talke about any thing...

In addition, when I started this thread, I purposely used "female" because I thought it would be more of an all-inclusive term than "girl" or "woman", especially since we'd be making choices which cover a wide range of ages, case in point, we've had mentions of Cardcaptor Sakura who's what, 10 to Motoko Kusanagi whom I'm guessing is well in her 20's, if not older (hard to be certain, given she's a cyborg). I never meant any disrepsect.
