What's your favorite anime?

Ouch, this is tough. I can't really pick one but I can make a small list...

And...that could go on for a while so I'll stop there!
 
My fav anime changes to much...but right now my fav would be Tsubasa Chronicle
 
My favourite animes are Inuyasha and Pokemon! *pika pika pikachuuu*
 
I also like the art of Ken Singshow (see my signature)... but I am new in everything Japanese, I don't know if that enters Anime, or is more in the American FA tradition.

In fact, I am not closed to any kind of animation, as long it has a great quality... as for example those movies of Don Bluth (an American), or some European, like "Felidae" (German).

I don't know why but I'm kinda obsessed with Keroro Gunso right now.
 
My favorite anime changes from time to time.

Right now it's a tie between Fullmetal Alchemist (great storyline), Yuugiou (great characters) and Prince of Tennis (it's surprised me).
 
I liked Great Teacher Onizuka, Dragon Ball Classic and Slam Dunk.
 
Me and older siblings grew up on Doraemon,we've had annual subscription to the manga as well.Then I discovered Arale watching Dr Slump,hooked on it for a few years.

As I grew older,came Ranma 1/2 and DragonBall classic plus subsequent series for my all-time favorite Japanese Anime.
 
Well it's hard to decide coz I like many anime but Digimon and Dragon ball(all seasons) would go first on my list .
 
I love a lot of animes. Like Fruits Basket, Gravitation, Gensomaden Saiyuiki, Getbackers, Kaikan Phrase, Hana Yori Dango, Trinity Blood, Blood+, NANA, Yami no Matsuei, Ouran High School Host Club, Bleach, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Witch Hunter Robin, Samurai Deeper Kyo, Tsukihime, Gundam Wing, Gundam Seed, Gundam Seed Destiny, Escaflowne, e.t.c.

BUT

My all-time favourite, my idea of the perfect anime, has got to be Full Metal Alchemist. That anime stole my life.

 
In fact, to people over 40, when they were kids, Doraemon was not so great.
IIRC, the 2nd wave of Doraemon came up around 1979, when Doraemon started to be aired at PM6:45 in some channel.
 
Getter Robo. Whenever I see the left flags at the bottom of names, I always remember Getter Robo.
 
Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger. I remember Menko cards. I had 200 or 300.
 
Favorite anime eh...

hmm....I wish I could put Samurai Deeper Kyo as my favorite anime (since the characters are sooooooooo cooooollll)... but when I compared it to the manga, it isn't really worth watching.

okay I take it back, it IS worth watching...for those who haven't read the manga. (but seriously, I prefer the manga, read it!!)..

so I guess, Cardcaptor Sakura and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle (both by CLAMP), and Yakitate! Japan would be my favorite animes.
