I have so many anime that i like

Elfen lied
Naruto
Death note
Higurashi no naku koro ni
Bleach
Inuyasha
Karin
and more......
 
Cowboy Bebop or Samurai Champloo. All the other music in every series I've ever seen seems lackluster in comparison to how well the visual and audio are matched in these.

Also, the beatboxer from that one episode in Champloo makes my day time and time again.

The best anime i have ever seen are :

1)Full Metal Alchemist
2)One piece
3)Final Fantasy : Advent children
4)Code Geass (currently watching the second season - R2)
5)Death Note
 
My favorite anime show are Sailor Moon, Naruto, death Note and Lucky Star.
 
Well I am not to into animes, but Cowboy Bebop was amazing. One of the best shows I have ever seen (anime or not). I also liked Ruroni Kenshin, FLCL, and Trigun. I have to disagree with most about the dark ending. I really liked it, seemed more fitting. I am tired of always seeing a happy ending.

I agree with MHtrStevie, My favorite Anime movie is
Whisper of the heart. After that comes
Read or Die.
Blood: the last vampire.
Ghost in the Shell.

I can't pick a favorite series though....
 
GTO!!

To me "GTO" is the best anime ever!

I'd also include "SAMURAI CHAMPLOO", "GANTZ", "DEATH NOTE", "GHOST HUNT"... there are so many...

I used to think GTO was about racing, until I was made away that G.T.O were initials. (There is an style of "muscle car" by Pontiac called GTO)
 
I have to say without a doubt Fullmetal Alchemist. But Death Note comes in a close second.
 
I have soo many...but I think my favourites will always be Ouran Highschool Host Club, Death Note, X1999 and Cowboy Bebop...then there are Noein, Speed Grapher, FMA, Lovely Complex....they all have very different styles and stories but also have something that always drives me back to them....
 
I have seen a lot of great series!!! and have a lot of favorites too! hehe .. some of them are.. Darker than black, Ouran high school host club, yamato nadeshiko shichi henge, Special A, Itazura na kiss, Haruhi suzumiya no yuutsu, Basilisk, fruits basket, paradise kiss, Lovely complex, Karin... It's impossible 4 me to select just one ^.^

After careful consideration, my best animes boils down to only these few:

1. Blood+
2. FMA
3. Code Geass
4. XXXHolic
 
this is surprising . .why is there seemingly so little naruto fans here? O_O blasphemy!
