is Dragon Ball Z Japanese or Chinese anime?

I don't watch the anime, but technically, some of the characters at least to my knowledge are based around Chinese ledgend.....

oh, well, thanks. that makes sense, of course. I thought there is more to it, but that is just enough.

nahhhh, c'mon we both know it suks. Seriously, people who can blow up planets n stuff? Cmonnnn is just so dragged out and annoying and tiresome, seriously c'mon. its the same story, strong villain comes, hero trains, hero beats villain, new super strong villain comes, hero trains, hero beats villain.........

Isn't anything that has "parts" like that? DB just had a lot of parts.
Any movie series, the same could be said of. Any comic (manga).
