Hey has anything been said about "Titania" which was suposed to be written by Yoshiki Tanaka with Mechanical designs by Kazutaka Miyatake and Character designs by Haruhiko Mikimoto? Its been awhile since I've heard anything, and I really really want to see this come out. It brings together producers from two of my favorite series, Ginga Eiyu Densetsu (Legend of the Galactic Heroes) and Macross.
 
Oh yeah, I want to say this is an amazing thread. I might not like many of the series, but you do have several that I love, like Nausicaa and Gundam and Planetes... Keep going.

Actually I think Ginga Eiyu Densetsu is the greatest animation of all time... Its almost required watching for any fan. Its far more intelligent and engrossing than gundam, or any other series. The Battles are simply spectacular, and it has some of the best characters of any series.


Oh and I knew the book exists, but I was wondering when is the Anime supposed to come out? I heard that it was being made.
 
Actually there was a Anime planned, accorrding to Director Noburo Ishiguro. Kazutaka Miyatake and Haruhiko Mikimoto were to be part of the design team. This was in 2003 and planned for 2004, but I guess it was canceled.
