This one, I think, also contains the words "Ginga Densetsu"...

Ginga as "Silver Fang" (窶ｹﾃ｢窶ｰﾃ･), or Ginga as "Galaxy/Milky Way" (窶ｹﾃ｢窶ｰﾃ?, its the difference.

Given the (impressive) number of Animes... I will not be surprised if there is more than these ones, that could be confounded by name.

I don't think so. "White Fang" is one novel of a famous US writer, named Jack London. Was one of my favorite lectures when I was a kid... and of course, countless movies and animation have been done about it... but in reality, if you go to the core, philosophicaly is inserted in "American Naturalism", which is a derivation of realism, but applied not so much to Society, as French and Russian realism where, but more to "realism between wilderness and man".

Difficult to explain.

On the other hand, this other Ginga, this anime "Silver Fang" has little to do with that.... in reality, if you follow the plot, the situation that the dogs face in the "war against Hoogen" (after chapter 7), looks to me more like wars among clans in Japanese feudal times (not joking!)... but maybe someone will have a different opinion.

This "窶ｹﾃ｢窶ｰﾃ･ Weed", in reality as far as I read, was not planned to be released in the US market... although if you ask an Scandinavian, specially a Finish, which anime he/she knows, it will probably answer "Ginga".
