Anime almost done. So, who do I talk to?

Hey all,
Sorry for not making a proper introduction post, but I'll do that soon enough. I'm glad to see this kind of forum and I'll most likely be very active around these corners of the internet universe. And I may have posted this in the wrong section, sorry.
Anyways, to more pressuring matters. I'm a 19 year old, soon-to-graduate Danish student who has had a passion for writing and designing storylines for MMORPGs and I've had several thoughts on several anime concepts written down everywhere for some years.
Naturally, the bubble breached when I begun writing a complete 24-episode anime manuscript since last fall. As I write this, I'm nearing the mark of 80 pages completely filled with text and character illustrations and as you can see, I am very serious about this project. Especially since I have already begun planning its second and final third season.
My problem is this though!
Obviously, I want to take my anime the next step further and sell the entire manuscript to a japanese animation studio and see it go through the production process and eventually see it on-screen of course. But how do I do this? Is it as simple as just sending a mail that only gives small bites of the anime's plot and could it be possible that they want me to work with them as a consultant during the process?
The anime is a seinen sci-fi action drama (phew, it has a lot of depth so I won't list too many genres), set in the near future of our actual world and covers themes such as global politics, war, a new biological evolution, the life and death and the love, laughs, pain and injustice which these humans experience and have experienced throughout their lives. Some are secretly used as weapons in a great war between two hyper-powers, while others are systematically headhunted by an organization with governmental permission to perform "a second holocaust" within the borders of the only nation currently not at war...externally. In despite of this, the completely totalitarian nation has withdrawn itself within a sphere of energy that keeps anything from coming in, and anyone from going out.
The series mainly revolve around two major protagonists (a soldier and a citizen), who though never meeting each other, eventually lead the world out of the downward spiral it is rapidly being sucked into. In the mean time, they meet some who will aid them, some who will fight them (mentally and physically), while some they'll never meet even though they play a just as important role in a giant scheme created by...whom?
So, it's around 80 pages now and will most likely breach the 100, 110 or 120 mark around Easter and the legalities have been taken care of already. I've summed up what I can about it and I hope to see some serious responses. Anything's helpful. ^^
I've already looked at Gonzo and Bones, my choice is falling more on Gonzo even though my dream would be to be accepted by Manglobe. Aight, I'll shut up. Have your say!

Hello and welcome to the board Lichine!

It is an interesting process trying to pitch your work to companies, and my only advice would be to read up on what other people have done before when pitching, or alternatively I could give you some tips in a pm and send you some links to decent publishing companies who will certainly take your submission seriously.
If you would like me to give you my opinion on your work I would very much be able to give you an idea of what I would think.

While its a great thing that you wrote all this, I doubt that anyone on these forums knows what would be the ideal step for you.
If you were to write a book your situation would be a bit easier, I assume, however, you want it to be made into anime...
Thing is (although Im not sure) that the Japanese anime industry is probably not that open to "external injections". I mean, not to sound too harsh, but you're not the one and only person with a great idea. Studios probably get loads of mails and whatnot saying that "I have teh story for you!", and they would gladly make those wonderful plans into reality, but there's one problem... budget.
If you want to reach your goal, you'll probably have to spend a couple of years on short term stuff... I mean you need reputation in Japan, let us see the steps leading to that.

1, Being in Japan:
a, You have to speak the language perfectly.
b, You need a Visa, a long term one preferably.
--- You might need a degree for this.
c, You need money, plenty of money.
d, You need even more money since you probably won't work right after arriving.
e, You need a job, something related to the anime industry.
--- You need a degree for this. Scriptwriting, multimedia or something among these lines.
f, You need a place to live.

Now lets say you accomplished all this.
You have to be successful in your work:

a, You need patience and time, not many get famous in their first year of work.
b, Luck, yes you need a bit of luck too.
c, You need to convince those people that they can trust your plan.
b, You need to satisfy the audience. Something that is great, has awesome depth, is scary, transcendent, etc. is probably not edible to the masses raised on shounen filth.
So you'll have the face the fact that they might cut down from or add to your plot.

And last but not least, you must be aware that not being Japanese (I assume) might hinder the process of achieving whats listed above.
Anyhow, I wish you the best. I myself am preparing to be a scriptwriter, so I thought about this issue a lot.
One thing that I must add to my post:
Don't give up. What you have in mind is not as grandiose at the beginning, but surely, it doesn't lack grandiosity once you have achieved it.
This task is not difficult because its actually hard, its difficult because not many choose to complete it.

Thank you very very much Derfel. Yeah, I'm aware of these complications, but I have already sent out some "tasters" to see how the response is. Then I'll adjust my future plans through this.

I have got some very positive response already from different "anime geeks", as some may call them, so let's see what happens. My theory is though, that even though many might have "t3h greatest ideaz everz" and mail it to different studios and get let down because it only IS "t3h greatest ideaz everz" and not a very serious and thought-through piece of material with depth.

I think that I will most likely be rejected in the beginning, but not because of the budget, but more of because of that the anime market seems to be booming (especially because of the import to the Western civilization) and the studios already have taken the projects they can do and scriptwriters have to wait for an opportunity for the producers to get the time to read one's manuscript.

Nevertheless, I will keep pressing on since I only have 6 episodes to go as I write this and I've reached the 83rd page today. I've set the deadline to Easter and I will hopefully reach it. So, with a bit of luck and a few years, let's see how the outcome will be?

Now, you see, my opinion is that there are LOADS AND LOADS of great plans, scenarios, etc.
And this is exactly why it pains me so that shounen sells the best. I mean, come on. Go compare NHK ni youkoso with One Piece, or Black Lagoon with Bleach... yet the latter ones are WAAAAY more successful. Unfair!!
