lol that's a bit of an underexaggeration... that movie blew my mind... mabe not quite as gory as the anime, but Kakihara and Ichi are played excellently... and the tongue scene (not really that gory though) is really rather disturbing first time round....

I think the bloodiest I've seen is this movie, I believe it's called X. Never watched the whole thing though. I've never seen that many blood and gore animes. Now, real life movies, hell yeah I've seen a lot of blood and gore and egyptian scarabs eating the evil people.

Here is one that I am sure none of you have watched... because its old skool anime that is a classic.

When MD Geist came out I think I #$@ my pants and ran all the way under my bed and started crying (I was like 6 or 7) ... so very violent, people being dismembered blown up. It was a post apocalpytic world that was pretty cool though...

Just as a thought... I think I will go watch it (fires up the old VCR)

I think the anime Angel Cop, was one of the most bloodiest I've ever seen. On top of that I think the story was not very good and there were too much casualties for no reason in the movie with blood and gore everywhere. The music wasn't very good either imo. I did watch it until the end of the series because I wanted to see how it ended.

Hum, I just purchased darkside blues and it leaves out the blood that's generally supposed to follow the gore along much of the time -.- kinda' bugs me.

The most bloddiest anime I've ever seen was one of this years best movies, Kill Bill. Even though the whole movie was gorey, this anime was one of the best I've ever seen. Can't wait till the second volum comes out.

For anime, the bloodiest thing I've seen is Vampire Hunter D...but there is a pretty violent manga call "Tomie" that is incredibly bloody and freaky.

wow i can't beleive no one has suggested claymore!! Tounge penetrating stomach, metal bars stabbed into body, decapitation, rape, torture, everything the wondering mind needs. Best anime series ever made in my opinion
