What Anime would YOU make?

I think I'd just make some sort of silly anime where I'm a boy protagonist, trapped as a lowly floor sweeper at some maid cafe where I'm constantly teased by a rag-tag group of women in vaguely sexual, violent, or innocent ways...
One will tease me, though I can't have her, one will punch me commically, & one will call me Maikeru-Sempai...

Duo, you've brought up a point that is quite paradoxical, and one that I am very passionate about. The whole idea of going back in the past to stop something from changing history is seemingly pointless. This is because if things are currently the same as you have that thought, then you must have already fixed it, and therefore there is no need to travel back in time. On the other hand, if you choose not to go back in time, you are in fact leaving that change to take place, and allowing history to change. And if history changed, then your own perception and memory would inevitably change with it in order to accomodate said change, thereby concluding that there was never a change in the first place.
But...uh...anyway.
I would make an anime about some long-living creature...I dunno, elven people seem to be a recurring anime theme, but I'd put more thought into the race if I was actually making it. Anyway, for whatever reason, a few high-standing individuals of this race were sent into a deep sleep, to be awakened in the future if the need arose for their leadership. The time comes, and all but one are awakened in order to defend their people. This race loses the battle, and is wiped out, save for this one. Loooooong into the future, this one is awakened, but since the proper rituals were not performed, all memories are lost. The progressing anime plot would be about this individual adapting to the new world (a violent world, to keep it in the action genre), and learning bits and pieces about his past through clues. This information would not, however, jog his actual memory, so his past self would be nothing more to him than a history lesson. He would have to cope with his previous "purpose" conflicting with his current role, and the finale would have him inevitably choosing his path in some big epic climax.

I would make one about Ayumi Hamasaki who is on a quest to find her lost love (me) and on her way to find me, the evil sorseress Koda Kumi tries to stop her along with her associate the vampire Gackt.
And then then Nana Kitade comes into the game and she escorts Ayu along the way, but as they get closed Nana is getting interested in me to and at the end they have this great battle to win me and ofcourse Ayu wins, but Nana stays behind wounded and she joins the evil Koda then as well, but Gackt has changed his mind and joins us and all of a sudden a fairy turns up with the name Hikki (also known as Utada Hikaru) and she changes time and we are again where it started, but with the knowledge we have gained from before, so Koda is stil evil and Nana is there, but Nana then realizes she will lose either way, so she runs of with Gackt...
Yeah ^_^

I would make Osamu Tezukas Buddha challenging and interesting and possibly a little controversial
I'd make progressive reality ^^ lol a short story I kitbashed together a long while back.
It's set in the near future at an indeterminet time (a cunning trick so things don't get old when you visit it in ten years time and go lol 4mb disk lol), it centres on a girl whose lost her best friend recently. At college she meets a hacker who has just transfered in who knew her friend, she ends up becoming friends with him and his group.
At the same time a plague is spreading its sauce unknown. A transendental AI begins to stir in the corporate datacentres. A Corporation plots a coup. A man who is dead within a room talking to a machine. A future in doubt, a moment of great change, the end? The begining? Reality... Choice, freedom, perspective, love.
Yeah, that's the story I'd change into an anime. In the vein of Serial Lain, Boogiepop Phantom and Haibain Renmi. A story about the human condition.

Heh, I would make an anime about the true nature of humanity, and have it set in modern time. It would be very dark, dramatic, and frightening. Might be cool to have it from the point of view of a bullied student, mentally ill person, or perhaps even a bully, to show how ignorance can cause so much hate. The main character would probably be an anti-hero too. I'm not too fond of super heroes in red & blue tights.
I guess you would call it a psychological horror film?

wow all of you have so many ideas..I would do something like NANA ...I like simple ones..realistic..with cute characters...with a panda hehe..or with high school love..stuffs like that..ex: Lovely Complex , Bokura Ga Ita..etc..and it must have Happy End ^-^

I'd make one about a group of Jrock fangirls, plus token male nerd friend who is secretly in love with the main character, but she never notices him because, well, he's not Uraha. 
Eventually her fave band splits up, her fave band member ends up washed up and loses the respect of his fans... (I'm sure if molestthyguitarists reads this she'll see a familiar story here)... and nerdy male friend is there to comfort her and she realises she likes him. awwwww....

I would make one about an idea I had for a manga about giant ants that take over a high school from the inside then use the teachers to control further parts of the comunity and the only opposition is 5 high school students, one of whom is a girl who is an alien from the planet the ants came from but had her memory erased while entering the atmosphere when her ship malfunctioned and thinks she is a normal human, I know that nobody will want to steal this, but it's mine, so don't please ^_^

First 3 books of the Horus Heresy, in a 26 episode spread, culminating with a feature film of Flight of the Eisenstein.
Depending on the success of that, my vast and well paid team would then work on Descent of Angels (3 issue 1hr OVAs, for which the last would sell the worst), and on completion move on to the full Soul Drinker saga in a 26 (first 3 books) and 13(fourth and 1st half of 5) episode spread, with a dual OVA for the end of the fifth.
This would all be supported by 4-komas of Ciaphas Cain, supplied in 12 page booklets in special editions of the dvd releases, and re released 6 months after completion as a separate two volume compilation, bundled with a full manga adaptation of For The Emperor.

Today's answer to an ancient thread: I was intrigued when seeing "Rocket Girls' in Yokohama in '07, blown away when the dubbed DVD's finally made it here to Buffalo. what about a sequel--"Rocket Grannies" for instance--all older, married, called back for a mission that needs their special talents, original characters all aged and matured, new generation coming up.

i would choose something weird and it would be shoujo and comedy genre.this is a story that i was thinking about:Yuki Nkamura is a highschool student who loves...hair!he always dates girls who have great hair.this passion started when his mom died when his was 3 years old and the only thing that he remembers from her is her beautiful long hair!but,what happens when the girl he is dating now changed her style to something punk and shaves ALL her hair?will he break up with her or will he figure out that he loves her just the way she is? ? ?(i know its a little crazy but now i am praticing my skills to draw anime characters and i have lots of crazy stories too so tell me your opinion about that

The books have everything: power struggles between the different samurai families, ninjas, romance, betrayal.......
Anyone who likes rurouni kenshin should like these books.
