What Anime would YOU make?

FYI, I've encountered this kind of question at every forum/online community I join. So, I'll share my answer here.

1. A scifi-genre anime, with majoring in android (I'm an android freak). Well, to tell the truth, I had started fiction manga about this particular subject (currently in writing version) and it's still going till today. I don't really know why, but I have this strange admiration toward artifical technonogy (probably because of the influence of Ghost In The Shell, Metropolis or Mahoromatic. Again, I'm an androind freak. 🙇‍♂️ )

2. A scifi/fantasy crossover. Imagine Record of Lodoss War/Escaflowne/anything related crossed over with Macross/Ghost In The Shell/anything related. Hmm, maybe I should touch it up with a little bit of fanservice? XD

[Currently listened to song: Here Without You (3 Doors Down)]

I really like InuYasha's concept, it has such an adventure feel to it, yet has many different small embedded stories inside of it that unveil as it continues, such as the love between inuyasha and kagome, then the betrayal of kohaku to sango.. It is very well thought of and written.. So something of that sort, also maybe something like Kenshin...

I guess I am just amuzed by the whole, swords being forged and containing certain powers, also with the different techniques of fighting styles (kenshin)..

It Could Run Forever !!!

How bout one on WWII that shows from what led to
Pearl Harbor to the years of occupation & rebuilding. Show
the best & worse done by both sides. It's been done to death in regular movies & books, why not anime??

lol This is something commonly used and re-used in chinese TV-soapies ^^
About some legendary swords and legendary moves and blablabla...

It would definitely have lots of cute girls and lots of fan service :D

Great minds think alike! :D

To hell with plot or story, that's secondary! I'd employ more fan service than Aika and Najica Blitz Tactics combined and make viewers eyes bleed from the overdose of panty shots! Of that you have my word!!
👍

Yeah, I agree....I am also in favor of a historic anime, which takes into account both sides, like the classic film "Tora, Tora, Tora," which has orthodox and revisionist views on how the Pearl Habor attack happened..

I wouldn't do an anime since I can't come up with a working storyline ^^

but if we skip the storyline I would make a Drama, Comedy

How about this for an anime story...

Setting: Modern day earth
Goal: Being the best of the best
Main characters: A rabbit that blinks and twitches its nose, a gothic chick, a hippie, a guy that is smart and lives on the streets, and some evil demented ruler.

The goal is for the smart guy who lives on the streets make the best possible living for himself using just about 0 cash or else other ways if they know how.

They live in a cold area where they get free food that is somewhat clean out of garbage bins.

They have a pick set so they can open up storage bins with clothes for the needy.

They also go to the library each day to learn something new. They also use their computer libraries to learn stuff.

They get in contact with people.

The poor guy runs an online donation site where 1000's of people donate to him money because he makes such great articles.

And with this money he goes from place to place taking down bad guys and buying weapons to turn them into the police.

The guy uses acid to destroy all whereabouts of fingerprints and DNA he may leave behind.

He gets these chemicals from different cheap sources.

He also collects cans on certain days to make a few bucks.

Sounds fun and insperational.

And i bet you, i would watch it.

Just to see a poor guy beat the crap out of someone bad to society, and making a cool buck while having smarts to get away.

I would watch a show like that.

The hippie makes chemicals for the poor guy because they were friends in highschool.

He has a terrible family which is why he rarely visits home.
the gothic chick is about 3 years older than him and she is a singer and musician but she hates him because he told her it was her fault for getting into the gang she did.
And he goes onto a forum to post where he has encrypted messages to other people around him in the world. These messages are encrypted with a special system where you must connect letters in the correct order.. which can take about 12 hours or so. The amount of periods he puts into/after a sentence helps determine how they decode it.

chemicals=c
acid=a

I'd make something futuristic, but have certain elements that are primitive, a la FF7/FF8. The main character and her lover could be killed for seeing something they weren't supposed to see, and she would be resurrected somehow or another to take down the organization that commited the murder. Her and her lover would be kind of in the outcast category, where they aren't hated, but no one really cares if they're gone. She would, of course, be dressed in some kind of pseudo-futuristic goth/punk outfit.

She'd be able to fight, but wouldn't be magically blessed with the ability to do kung-fu, so she'd use weapons mostly. Of course, with being ressurected and all, her body wouldn't feel the damage it was taking, so she'd just go crazy and take people out however she could. Eventually she'd manage to get to the top of the organization, and isntead of some cheesy "oh, I found out how to kill the immortal girl" scene, it would be an awesome revenge scene where she says some cool line to the guy, and leaves him to some torturous death.

As the movie progresses, she would become more and more depressed/deranged, since she'sbeen brought back, yet she can't die to be with her lover. There'd be plot elements throughout the movie that reveal how she can be with him, but she wouldn't realize it until the very end, and in a last ditch effort, she'd hold her arms out, and let herself fall over the edge of the roof of the building the last scene took place on. There'd be a slow motion fall sequence, where you'd be able to see her tears float from the corners of her eyes into the air, and she'd realize that in order to be reunited, she'd simply have to let go of her "life" (i.e. - suicide). Just as she would be supposed to hit the ground, she'd simply fade away from existence. Then there'd be some cheesy reunion scene before the credits rolled. ^.^"

Yeah, that was influenced quite a bit by The Crow, hehe.

basketball anime, be it highschool basketball, streetball...

a sci-fi anime that kinda reflects of what i think the future will look like, martial art, and makes people think...could be like something combined of Matrix and Macross?

lifes of musicians, how they started, struggle in their career, struggle in their relationships, fight through it to become successful

The last one I can agree on!! I'd love watching that kind of anime, I love realistic ones....I am not too fond of sci-fi anime... 🙂

ya, i've always wanted to make one like that

as far as i know, there has never been an anime/comic about lifes of musicians, right? the major obstacle is that you can't have music from pictures in the books

i would animate the bible, in all of its metaphoric, brilliant, dark, sureality. but prolly just the old testament, before christ, where there was no savior, and just burnt offerings, mass worship, and the darker side of things. like the wierd uknown period of time when lucifer and god were hanging out, just before the creation of mankind, but is never really talked about in the bible. all in all, id love to see it animated, anime style, like momoru oshi, or the animator of ninja scroll...

i would animate everyone getting pwned. Like people starting crap with their teachers and then having complete ownage over their teachers and peers. And then when they get into fights they pawn them there. But they screw with the mentality of them first.

Lol, I dunno why, but that reminded me of the opening in the first issue of the Spawn/WildC.A.T.S. crossover comic, Devil Day. When all the god-like creatures are floating around on the outskirts of the universe, just kind of playing around. Hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about. XD

never read that one, but it sounds interesting... the reason i would animate the bible is because of this weird time period wher lucifer as an angel is rarely elaborated upon. the concept that, in the bible, god is supposed to be omnipotent, knows the future of every living thing, has a plan for its life, etc, yet is clearly stated many times that god cannot look upon sin, or commit evil, yet, he created lucifer. this contradicts the very nature of god as the bible desribes him/it. this means very literaly that god is directly responcible for evil, because he knew that lucifer would fall from grace, and become evil incarnate. besides the fact that it is epic in scale (from a story tellers perspective ), and has many intriguing stories within stories, etc. plus, the old testament was cranky, full of demonic entities, ritual sacrifice, fear, and the darker, weirder life that ppl led b4 they had crist as a scapegoat. id like to explore the relationship betwen god and lucifer, because being american means that the story would be controversial and would have a wide-ranging audience here inthe west. i would not make this anime in any way biased on a belief structure, but merely a visual interpretation of what has already been written, although in the bloodier, darker, and more cultist atmosphere of the days of the old testament. purely a source of story telling, that is all.
the confrontation of the question posed to the audience, is god directly responcible for evil? id like to se the general audience takle that one.

I would probably create a fantasy character illistration for the story Im writng. I found a place where I can post my drawings its at VCL - Furry Art. its availible in Swedish and english.

Question: Can you post anime drawings to the forum, if so, how would a person go about doing it.

i'd make something short, like 10 volumes or so. the on going ones are too troublesom...something like a dark sci-fi/supernatural shojo...
