Remember the episode when Light met L?, since he saw his face, even without a name. He could had simply told someone who knew him as rukugan or whatever his name was, to murder him.

That's because light could control people by the book, ex :students jump top student known as "rukugan".

He don't have to give the direct instruction to the victims, on how to kill L. He could had simply wrote something like "start fire at room #....., at this hotel".

If he gave the direction to the victims, to destroy the room. The direction is only clearly stating, to destroy the hotel room with fire. Regardless if his intention was to kill L, the fact wouldn't have changed. The room will be destroyed by fire with L in it.

In other words, it'll be like forcing L to die.


speaking off topic once when I was leaving a hotel room the staff was running towards my room, he'll be surprised when he found out what's next to the toilet.

But here's the thing, regardless if the "victim" dies of a heart attack. The world couldn't change the already done fact that, the victim maybe holding a dynamite in his hand, or something that can start a fire rapidly(open lid gas container with lighter)

In other words if Light wrote this death detail for victim "Go to hotel room with dynamic" regardless to the fact that he will receive a heart attack, he would also be holding a dynamic.

When the death note sense that the victim is putting unintended victims in danger(such as L), the victim will receive a heart attack, but regardless to this, there will also be a dynamite in his hand.

well, maybe, but understood it differently. if he wrote this dynamite thing, and consequences and more victims, then he would not take the dynamite from the start, he would die of heart attack in 40 seconds.

but, hey, i might be wrong. maybe he could find hole in the rules, and kill L... but then we would not have this conversation, i guess

Well anyways, my point is I think that the death note can be used in a way. That the death note itself cannot control, and that is why the plot contradicts itself.

Another example is, you see if light could had gotten the names of those FBI agents, he could had simply gotten more names of the FBI agents, and those FBI agents could had gotten more names of police officers or FIB agents.


and soon he could even had made himself the only law enforcement in the world.
