Mantis Woman is about Japanese ghosts and myths, it's basically a collection of short stories in manga format (though I've never seen it made into an Anime.. gomen, but if you haven't read it, I would. It's published by Ironcat, LLC, though I'm not sure you'll be able to get it since they closed *sobs*) Um, otherwise I'd just go for the non-anime stuff like the original Ringu (there's four of them, I haven't seen them all but I liked the first one *the Japanese one) Ju-On (again havne't seen them all, but there's four), Honogurai Mizu No Soko Kara (Darkwater), there's one more but I can't remember what it was called, saw it in a Horror magazine though, supposedly it's good, if I can remember I'll post it.

Yea it is, most things are made into manga, or manga is made into anime, which is made into live action movies.. BoogiePop Phantom and Evangelion are supposedly live actions or being made into live actions *remembers watching sailor moon live action... the nightmares* Anyway, I hope my list was of some help.
