Have you ever cried at an anime?

All the time..

:( all the time, but i love it 😌 sometime not even know what is saying (w/o subtitle) ..

I've never cried during an anime however i have to admit that the episode in Fruits Basket where they feature the story of Hatori Sohma (the doctor guy) and his love Kana and how their tragic story together unfolds did touch my heart a lot- i thought that was a really sad and tragic story of lovers that weren't allowed to be :( !

And yeah, i have to agree with everyone else on Grave of the Fireflies too, so sad :( (but also a very good movie none the less)!

And there was this bit in Angelic Layer quite far into the series that touched my heart a bit, but i totally forget a lot of the details about it (its been such a long time since i last watched it), it was to do with the disabled lady and the purpose of the angels dolls...I forget...Ah don't worry about it 😌 !

As silly as it might sound, yes... esp. when good instrumental music are playing sadly in the background while an anime character dies saying their final words or smiles while dying in someone's arms... :( or even if it's sad ending... 😭 (like Basilisk's ending, or Chrno Crusade<-- I dont know why it's just soooo sad to me, esp. in Naruto??<-- Too many characters die... man i get attached too easily to those characters)

OMG how could I forget that! SO TRUE!!! Grave of the Fireflies is sooooooo good at touching ppl's hearts! 😭 😭 😭

I don't believe I have, but I think tears were on the surface, but I don't remember the anime (s)

Recently I have cried a lot. Right after watching the 154th episode of Bleach, I came to realize that I have been watching that rubbish for 154 episodes, that made me shed more than just a few tears.

I'm not sure, but I don't think I've ever cried during or after an anime, or manga or even movie. For some reason I always laugh.

I have only cried watching anime twice. once was in Fushigi yuugi. I won't give away spoilers but those who have seen the anime know what part I cried at. the second anime was Ai no Kusabi.

Certain episodes in Gundam 00, yep, I almost cried. I just love that Anime and that's pretty much the only one I'm watching right now. Heheeh :D

The one time I remember REALLY crying during an anime was during Scrapped Princess, when Fulle died :(. He was the only character I cared about in that entire series. So sad...

i cried alot when ALFEREDO from romyo's blue skies died and every time i see his death i cry from my heart and i also cried when kou yagamy from shin hakkenden and his group die and also afew times i don't remember right now

I cried in the first Pokeman movie when Ash died :( I also have cried loads with Naruto like when Haku and Zabuza died and at the end of the VotE when Sasuke leaves... I cry a lot to movies too... like The Green Mile and Titanic... Jeez I'm so sad 😄

There hasn't been an anime that has made me cry. But I got teary-eyed when Hughes died in FMA. Although, that wasn't the only instance. XD

OP (One Piece) i merely cry.. when they say goodbye to merry their old ship..

Clannad After Story was very sad when Nagisa died. Since epi 17 till the end I would shed tear. That anime is the only one that changed my life.

Denno Coil & Chrno Crusade... I WISH I cried only trickling tears, but I was depressed for like a week after watching them. Even now when I think back I feel sad :'(

P.S, my first post on this forum :3

Full Moon wo Sagashite (around the middle of the series). If you've seen it you'll know why!

Of course! There's always a scene in the series where they make the audience cry. :)

I don't know what to say....but I did cry whenever there's sad and touching moment in any of anime series or movies that I watched.... I'm an emotional type of person. Waaaa.......! ><

I have never actually cried while watching an anime(or anything else for that matter), but I have come very close while watching 5 centimeters a second.

Angel Beats

Angel Beats made me cry my eyes out. It wasn't a horrible ending, just simply sad. Everytime I watch it I cry, even though I know what happens.
