Have you ever cried at an anime?

Well it really depends on what you like. I mean when I watch these tragic romantic scenes i sometimes just want to press the fast forward button, but heroism, now thats a different tale. Its just a bit annoying that there are few films/animes which have dramatic, sad endings with no compromises, with no crappy fanservice. (oooh Elfen Lied? A shadow of Lucy perhaps?)

scorpion da black, i have to agree, Samurai 7 surely IS touching, loved it.
Kyuzo's death was the saddest moment of the whole series... ahh wanna watch it again!!!

NOT HEROIC AGE!!! Arrggghh i cried throughout the whole bloody anime, it was SOO SAD. And i don't mean the story, i mean the effort. I couldn't finish watching it, it was almost as if "please pity me" was written on the forehead of the characters.
As for Claymore, I was strongly "touched" but in a different manner, when the little **** killed Teresa i was shocked, i had this "Go go Clare mutilate her and rip her guts out of her living, breathing body!!"

I cry like hell,lma.
I cried at .. Elfen Lied,FSN,Basilisk <333,Chrno Crusade,Kanon 2006 till now,haha lmao.

FMA

Full Metal Alchemist made me cry. Yep. That's a tear Jerker. I mean, you just fall in love with the characters and then.. POOF! They're dead... or something.

Ai no Kusabi reduced me to an inconsolable wreck for about an hour afterwards :(

I don't watch anime much nowadays. >_<'
But I cried in Fruits Basket when Kyou was transformed into his original form and Tohru was chasing after him. 😏

Death Note made me cry... I could barely watch the first two episodes, what do people like about it lol?

I definitely cried during the last episode of Fruits Baskets, but if there's one anime that I consider a tearjerker, it's got to be Honey & Clover. I cried maybe two or three times during the first season and several times - practically once for the first four episodes - of the second season.

rurouni kenshin

The first ova for rurouni kenshin I thought was very sad. After watching the entire anime and then kenshin dying:(

i am not done watching all the OVAs

oh my god, why did i come in here??

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh...you spoiled it ....SPOILED IT * BREATHES HEAVILY AND stares like a homicidal freak *

When watching Fushigi Yuuki, I cried so much when I saw Nuriko die as they did his flashback. I also cried when Hotohori die (he was my favorite character). I think I did the most crying when watching Fushigi Yuuki.

I have never cried at an anime, only Ginga Nagareboshi Gin made me feel a little sad inside, but I didn't physically cry.

Spoilers It's the part when Gin has defeated Akakabuto and Daisuke, his owner says "Gin you were great," from a distance because the dogs don't want Daisuke near their new leader, Gin, and then Daisuke says "take care of Gin" to the dogs, then says "Goodbye!" and runs off, then Gin starts silently crying, the music just made it all so emotional. End of Spoilers.

o crap, sorry dude
But on the bright side, dont worry the first ova sucked anyway. Most people including myself choose to forget it ever happened. The second ova, now that was a masterpiece.

The end of Gunslinger Girl mad me cry, with Angelica in the bed, while all the others where outside. She is one of the most tragic characters in the anime and the manga. Also the end of chobits when Chii had her memory wiped and Hideki wanting her back so much that she got her memory back.:(

Towards the end of Lucky Star when Konata's mother checks in on her husband and daughter from beyond the grave. That got me to cry. My mom passed away almost a year ago so that no doubt contributed to my emotions.

If you really wanna cry, watch the first story in the anime series "Clanned"

I had some tears in my eyes with the movie: Grave of the Fireflies, and the end of Rurouni Kenshin.

What? :D
Which scenes should make me/us cry? Sorry, but I don't really like this type of anime.

( *smart-alec-mode - on* It's 'Clannad' *smart-alec-mode - off*)

It seems that Grave of the Fireflies is a contender for most cried at anime. Mind you it is a very tragic film, but a very good one.

definitely, graveyard of the fireflies made me cry .
the last episode of the famous death note, however, tightened my heart so much that i regreted watching it (i mean the last episode) .

there are few thers on which i poured some tears but i don't remember right now.

I've cried with laughter many a time.

I also cried a little bit in Ranma 1/2, although that may have been caused by stubbing my toe on the table leg prior to the sad scene :p
