forgive me...but what does ANIME really mean?

ok, ok...so i do not really know what anime is. can someone please tell me? and is manga just the japanese word for comic or something? please help!!

Anime is short for Animation. Some claims it originated as a French word.
And yes, manga is the Japanese word for comics.

about Anime.

"Anime". is a Latin word for 'soul'. there is to say: the inner metter that make things alive. Could be, people, machines, animals, or even seeds.

Anim-male ( evil animal) or beast. We say bestial, when we intend to direct, to someone that is acting like "bed animal". Or: "evil animal".

The human "anima" is the brain. on the animals is also the brain.

Machines "anima" is the motor or the main components inside to make funtion. To run.
Tha computer "anima" is the "motherboard" and other components.

The seeds "anima" is the kernel, or the inside, that make to germinate when we plant them.

Just about everything in the universe, has an "anima".
