Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children

I soo can't wait until the movie comes out here..I'm soo excited :D..I've only seen one of the trailers, but it was awesome and just seeing it made me cry..I cried ubber hard when they showed the part after Aeris died and Cloud is placing her in the water :( :( :( ...I soo love FF7...

Hi! Does anyone know when the European release for Advent children is? I know the Japanese release has been delayed, but it would be really helpful if anyone could help me....................
Anywho, the film looks fabulous, the graphics magnificent, but the big question is will it keep faithful to the game and will it live up to the hype unlike Final Fantasy, Spirits within - (the bonus with that film was that L'arc en ciel did a song! :-) )
 
No one knows exactly when for Euro release....It's not even officially released yet!

And so far I only know of Japan and US released...keep your fingers cross till then 👍
 
I don't even know when the it's going to be released here in America. :(
I wish they'd pick some dates and stick with 'em.

I don't really want to hear it in English either. But there's no reason why they wouldn't include Japanese language options in the dvd. Besides, if you import it you'll have to get your hands on a region 2 dvd player - because Japanese dvd's aren't compatible with ours. Unless of course you have a region 2 dvd player! XD
And in the case, I wanna know where you got it!!
 
onigiri, most dvd-players can be easily modified to play all regions DVDs just by pressing a combination of preset buttons the developers like to keep in there for some reason :p

check around the web for your model...
if you REALLY want a region free DVD player all pre-fixed (and legal.. i dunno...is it illegal per-se to hack your DVD?) and nice though, www.jlist.com sells them ^^

Thank you so much, I'll definitely search online. I accidentally bought a region 2 dvd at some big shop in California earlier this year, and I haven't been able to watch it yet.
So I'll search for my model and see if I can figure out how to program it.
 
Hmm, definitely good to know...

...can't wait for Advent Children to come out over here--it'd be sweet if they did a theatre release.
 
Trailer #4 is out now, for viewing only at the official site or for download (with a translation if you click "Comments") here. Please note that SquareEnix has officially requested that no downloadable copies be available online, and that only their site should have ANY copy actually hosted, so please use the second link for the translation only.

If you use the main site, just click "Trailers" and then "004" (the one with Cloud's face on it) for whichever connection you have. It may jump a bit while playing through on the higher resolutions, I just avoided this by going to another window with the sound off while it played the first time, then going back and hitting "Replay" to actually watch it.

If you use the other site for anything (please do so only for the comments/translation!!!) then you'll have to scroll down to Jan 28, which is when the trailer was released. The article should be the second on the list (as of this posting).

Now that that's all out of the way... What did you guys think about the end??? *goes fangirl*
 
The trailor has been newly added to the "site" , but this is not a new trailor. It has been shown at the JumpFesta of last year , or so i read at adventchildren.net (haven't checked the trailor myself .. 😌 )

The newest trailor I know about was the one shown at the last JumpFesta which I attended. There was so much tears in the hall ... 😭

Everybody don't just go and download it. Once it's out , pay the 10 bucks and go to the cinema !

It is the JumpFiesta 2005 trailer, but for anyone that wasn't there (like me) it's new. I don't plan on downloading the movie when it comes out, but as I'm not only in the states but in Savannah, GA, I won't get to see it in the theatres--just the DVD when it comes out.
 
kadaj looks so cool....and i can confirm the guy in the wheelchair ish sephiroth!!! defiantly not aerith, dunno who came up with something like that since the guy under the cloak has a deep manly voice heh... 🙂
 
According to the translation of the fourth trailer that's been posted at ff7ac.net, the Wheelchair Man is Rufus Shinra, not Sephiroth--although I thought it was Sephy also when I first saw the trailers.
 
it can't be rufus....i mean he died with the whole mother ray thing, boom.dead rufus....
 
You're telling me that in a game where the final boss you fight is a clone of the original "man" that NO ONE can be saved and just very, very scarred. For all we know, Rufus could have implanted himself (or had Hojo implant him) with a small number of Jenova cells before the Diamond Weapon blasted him. Anything that they don't tell us didn't happen is fair game, and the "official" transcript of that fourth trailer says that it IS Rufus Shinra, and the Official cast listing says that Rufus has a VA whether it's him in the wheelchair or it's just a flashback.
 
Ofcourse Rufus NEVER died !!! Anyone remembers the the smile on his face , when that stupid thing flamed that ray .. ??! ohhhhh little Rufy ...
 
did anyone see that cloud pulls out a sword out of nowhere during the fight where the silverhaired guy hits the buster sword out of his hand?
