best anime opening!!!

excel saga for pure goofiness , and i love the music on G.I.T.S...and also Naruto....But the one that gets me everytime (i also have it as my ringtone) is Evangelion.

The opening (animation and music) for Last Exile immediately got me hooked. Beautiful CG and smooth animation. The music track isn't what I'd normally listen to, but it works.

Priss live - Konya wa hurricane (from Bubble gum crisis.) And any of that 90s anime with it's 90s JPOP. How come they don't make it like they used to? Sheesh. A lot of you people are talking about televised anime. When I was 13 the only anime on television was Sailor Moon and I used to have to wake up at 5am before school to watch it (and Tokyo news which was on before I had to go to middle school too.) I'm kind of glad we didn't have anything else though, I watch Bobobobobobobo on Cartoon Network on Saturday if I have the time and if I had been raised on that I think I would have most likely turned out to be same egg different bird.

I think my favorite is Ichirin no Hana, 3rd Bleach opening. I also love the opening of X1999 (the tv series) and I NEVER get tired of watching the opening of Evangelion, it never gets old!!!

I've always liked the 2nd opening of Bleach. Especially because of the song; Uverworld - D-tecnolife. Unfortunately I wasn't really into the anime itself.

There's so many great anime openings that I've heard. I could probably go on and on listing them, but if I had to choose one I'd say the song that plays at the beginning of Kariosutoro no Shiro called Honoo no Takaramono. That song is just magical and pretty much got me into anime.

I like this ANIME. It's based on a fictitious village called "Hinamizawa" which indeed is an allusion to the famous an real village Shirakawago. I've been there so it brings me back nice regards.
The title is written in KANA, so it could have two different literal translations:
"When the cicadas cry" or "When there isn't any life day to day".
