Anime/Manga collections, anyone?

Nope! They're all store bought! I don't even wanna think about how much money I've spent on all that stuff!

I bought my first manga a few months ago, after that i've downloaded

That manga by the way was Ranma 1/2. i also have Love Hina 1-11

England sucks when it comes to anime and manga so i usually get it over the internet.

I've been collecting for around 4 months now so it's not a grand selection.

Anime:

Dominion Tank Police (haven't watched in an age, it was the first i bought after i saw it on TV)
Card Captor Sakura (some DVD some pre-recorded)

Did some crude math on how much I've spent on my anime DVD collection. I've got somewhere in the vincinity of 175 discs, not counting box sets. The single discs run in price from $19.99 to $29.99 from several different places like Best Buy, Suncoast, FYE, Sam Goody, online resources like Right Stuf and a couple of comic book shops I frequent. After crunching the numbers, I came up with a rough estimate of around $6,500.00! And that might well be a LOW estimate! In a word----OUCH!!!! And my collection is STILL growing!

-Chobits 4,5,6,7,8 (seen 1,2,3 in anime; the mangas are on my wishlist)
-Inuyasha 15,16 (seen 1-14 in anime)
-Crescent Moon 1

I've only just begun to collect. I have a long way to go. :joyful:
 
My dvd collection consists of: Cowboy Bebop complete boxset, Trigun episodes: 1-3, 17-19, 23-26,Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Castle In The Sky, Ghost In The Shell, Akira, Maison Ikkoku volume 1 and several others.

It's not much compared to some people, but I'm working on expanding my collection.

ouch I'm currently in UK and the mangas and anime stuff are Freakin' expensive here !!!!
it's almost 2 times cheaper in France !! (And I won't even mention the prices in hong kong)

I use about 50,000 yen for the purchase of DVD every month.

A comic magazine purchases only a monthly.
3000 yen of every month
I am not collecting figure .
It takes more money when I collect these.
 
I'm in an absolute anime craze! Me and my friend spent friday nights last year in a bookstore where we worked, reading manga. I went to America to buy CardCaptor Sakura the movie (they didn't have it in my country >_< *sob*) and I have Last Exile, Rahxephon, Blood the Last Vampire, Lain, Animatrix, all Pokemon movies, Dragonball Z Movie Super Android 13, Saikano - all on dvds, then I also have all of Card Captor Sakura manga, and Love Hina manga, and also (and these are all full series): Ishigo Mashimaro, Ah! My Goddess, Love Hina, Kanon, Fruits Basket (manga too), Azumanga Daioh, Gundam Wing, Excel Saga, Chobits, Evangelion, Vandread, Love Hina, Ninja Scroll, Hack Sign, Angelic Layer, Angels Sanctuary, Hellsing, Maihem, Chrno Crusade, Air (one of the best), Kenshin, and of course Sailor Moon (which made me love anime)...and then there are heaps more, but I don't remember them all, these are the ones I enjoyed most though. Anime is just amazing, I draw it too! And my brother draws it too.

I'm mainly a Book/Manga collector myself, seeing as how I don't have easy access to any anime providers. So, if I had my way, I'd live in Barnes and Nobles, but, seeing as that can't be(yet), I've amassed a small collection of manga and one DVD.

Anime: Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death and Rebirth - DVD

Manga - Chrono Crusade 1-6; Magister Magi Negima 1, 3-4; Sgt. Frog 1-3; Vaizard 1; Naruto 1; Ranma 1/2 3-4; Full Metal Panic 1-7; Candidate for Goddess 1; Kekaishi 1-2; .hack//Legend of the Twilight 1; Comic Party 1-4; and Gunslinger Girl 2-3.

I have actually read about 3x as much (loans from friends, sitting for about 3 hours in bookstores and libraries) and hope to expand my collection in the near future. (if my tiny budget allows)
