I like horror movies. My favorite horror movies are
1 Night of the Demons
2 The Intruder
3 The Intruder
4 Resident Evil: Afterlife
I like these movies very much. Please share with us what are you favorite horror movies?
.................

Let's see,

1. Dark Tales From Japan - a couple of short films that freaked me out more and more afte each film.

2. Mirrors & Pluse - ghost freak me out in general

3. Dead Birds - the old west meets horror. This one will mess with your head.

4. The Haunting in Connecticut - this one gave me nightmares.

5. The Tattooist - any lover of tattoos needs to see this one.

Japanese movies scare the hell out of me!

These are still my favorite Japanese horror films of all time and they are creepy as hell!

1. Ringu
2. Audition
3. Battle Royale
4. Juon (original movie version)
5. Kairo (aka Pulse)
6. One Missed Call
7. Ichi the Killer
8. Dark Water
9. Ringu 2
10. Ringu 0: Birthday

Since I've been having problems using my DVD player these days, I use my personal computer to just download these scary-as-hell films. There's this website called Fast-Debrid.Com which allows me to donwload not just horror films but also singles from Adele, Jason Mraz, and Bruno Mars! I love it!

Oh, I forgot to mention SUICIDE CIRCLE! That really creepy subway train scene scares the hell out of me! \m/

Ringu is still one of the scariest movies I have ever seen, and for some reasons I dislike Chuckie a lot (I know some of you are laughing now).

Japan has a lot of horor movies, but most of them are just too bloody and not that scary if you ask me (ichi the killer, audition, suicide club... are these really horror movies?)

Ringu scares the **** out of me. It surpass any Hollywood horror movie that I've ever watched (including America made 'the ring' movie).

Must say Japanese horrors dont scare me or make me jump in the slightest. Things like the Grudge for example... Only saw it once and actually cant remember if it was Japanese or simply made in a Japanese style by a western director but anyway... Little girl popping up with a blue face going wooooo every 5 mins at unsuspecting times - Not scary. Although I've been told its a reference too various Japanese folklores and stuff and is quite spooky for Japanese viewers.

For me I think the only vaugely scary films I've seen have been... Jeepers Creepers (at 15 was pretty scary) and 28 days of Night was pretty tense as well. I love vampire horrors. Excorcist was very scary as a child too.

Ringu (and number two. And Birthday. I love Yukie Nakama in Birthday), Ju-On (and two... and Black Ghost / White Ghost), Tale of Two Sisters, Pulse, Dark Tales from Japan, Friday the 13th (the series), Nightmare on Elm Street (original series, not the 2011 one). That's all I can think of for now.

I mostly love Asian horror. They do it much better, in my opinion. Ringu surpasses The Ring in every way.

Mine are paranormal activity, orphan, unborn, the shutter island and the mirror.

Suicide circle was a trauma for me xD i read the manga before even so saw the movie was shocking :'(

I don't watch horror films much these days but the one that always sends a shudder down my spine - just by its mention, is Ringu (The original version).
I still can't put my finger on it but there is this creepiness and aura of dread all the way through it that just gets to me in some way.
Very, very few films have actually scared me this one is top of the list.

Not sure if it qualifies as horror , but Jaws was one of the very few movies that scared the crap out of me. Maybe because I live on the ocean and sometimes swim there.
