I have notice that most of the pictures are of guys, is it like this that guys are care less about how they look in a picture or is it that they just outnumber the girls on this forum

males act by instinct like animals in general. Female, act by emotion. We do think more about it thinks. It`s wy God create a women to balance the two sexes.
Males are more spontaneous in just about anyway Especially when comes to manifest their emotions. we ( women are more retincent. We like to think over, and over. Again, and again.
Men are so spontaneous on their feelings. Women hold for a long as it takes.
I personally, don`t like to put things on the open. I am a woman!
I just think is not necessary. Not that i think is something wrong, i youst think that there isn`t any necessity doing so.
As for pictures, women, in general, think that they not looking good anogh to shaw off . Men are more spontaneous about shaw of.

Unfortunatly you are right when you say that women offen act by emotion, this is a negative aspect, acting on emotion means that a person is not 100 pourcent on control of him/herself.
Being control by emotion instead by logical makes those person makes big mistakes sometimes,

I don`t think that is positive or negative effect here. In this world we have only 2 gender sexes : male and female. We are opposits, physically and mentally. We like or not, its a reality. I personally thing that is the beautifull thing that makes this world.
Just look the electricity system: ther`s a male plug, it goes to female plag. This two, have to be just right or we will not have electricity. We need a negative and positive connection to create the really electricity.
As fare as emotion concern: We are not 100% sure what we do. Nor male or female. We have to work over to meet what it takes. Nothing wrong with that. We have to use our brain, or we do not reach our goals in life.

Cathy, you just said, we have to use our brain, BUT as I mention, sometimes, in certain situation, some person gets totally blind when ther eis too much emotions involved, this is at this point they lose control of themself, and in certain cases it leads to negative , or unconcious decision,
anyway we could talk very long about this, it depends on everyone capacity anyway

I agree with you 100% here. I for one, got completely lost when i met my husband. Infact, we both got lost into eachother: eyes, brain and heart.
Bu, back to the main point: about pictures. Women, think that man need special picture of us women, or we get negative feedbacks.
Its not so, in reality: men , usually are very practical, and men goes by instint, just like male animals: (ok Almost!).
So, Ledies, go ahed and post your picture if you like. You might not please every male viewers, but someone will be very happy to see your face.
I hope some one start a post about the subject of male and female. And, i am not talking about: love or sexual actraction, just the difference of the two sex point of views.

actually i thought it was more because men, generaly dont really care what others think or how they will judge their picture, whereas women do. partly because women judge and compare how people (of both genders) look, what they are wearing etc. i dont mean that in a negitive way. a majority of girls/women i know always think that there is something wrong with them, that they are inadequate for some strange reason. even if they weigh 50 kilos (110 pounds) and are gorgeous. i just dont get it.
i personaly dont view posting my pic as a big deal. it seems odd to me that people would be afraid of their face on the net when its everywhere else they go. there are strangers and weird people at the mall, driving down the street, on airplanes, all over the place. so i have no qualms when it comes to showing it to a group of people, like everyone here, that i somewhat know and "talk" to on a near daily basis.
@cathy: it seems like a good topic, you should make a thread for it, you dont need someone else to start it off.

Judge away. This is me this morning. I just got up, and I haven't had a shower yet. The only thing I've done is brush my hair. I still have last nights makeup smudged under my eyes. The way I see it is that women can look like that or look good as the second picture. It all depends on how the picture turns out. And even then everyone has their own opinion on what looks "good". I know that I can be unattractive to some guys, whereas to others, I'm very, very attractive. (i will never figure the male species out 
)
