New to Anime/manga. Your recommendations

Romantic and funny ones:
Haven't u see Lovely complex? .. Is a great romantic comedy!! The girl is tall and the boy is short! they fall in love ... but are worry about what people could say about them! xD! I recomend it to u!

and two that I watched days ago were Special A and Itazura na kiss.. are GReat too!! Special A is very similiar to Ouran high school host club!

ah! Karin, she's a vampire girl but she is an special vampire! u have to watch it! an awesome serie too...
 

Great taste. I'd recommend the anime as well, but it covers only the beginning part of the manga.
awesome story.
 
Gacha Gacha is awesome. I loved it. It's about a guy who turns into a girl when he sneezes. And he uses it to his advantage to get closer to the girl he really likes. It's AWESOME>.<
 
New titles

Here are some new Anime titles that I can recommend.
Trinity Blood: An apocalypse has happened and now there are 2 races on Earth: Human and Vampires(called Methesala). There has been 10 years of peace between them and now an old faction that wants to create a war returns. It is up to the Vatican and the Empire to hunt out and destroy this faction before a war can start.
Witch Blade: The witch blade chooses a woman to wear it and can only be removed in death. A young woman stumbles into level 0 when tokyo is destroyed and becomes the witch blade. it is triggered by war machines that used to be human and females who are genetically designed to wear a duplicate of the witch blade that was specifically design for them.
 
"Wild life"

I'm eager for "Wild life", from the MANGA of the same title.
It ought to be very fun. I've read something about the theme of the story.
It is said that before finishing the MANGA they were making the ANIME version and even a life-action version, scheduled for March of 2008, but NHK cancelled the shooting because of the death of a pair of giraffes after the little giraffe were filmed. What a pitty for the giraffes.
I don't know if the ANIME is already been broadcasting in Japan or no, but in the ANIME version, any giraffe are real.
 
Hello! Anybody watching Kuroshitsuji? The Black Butler can do a lot of things, I'm still in the middle of getting to know what's going on, lots of mysteries in it. But so far so good ;p
 
yeah, kuroshitsuji is quite good.. the current op/ed themes are good too.
story is ok, good enough to have me following- but i was a bit taken aback by what sebastian did in ep 18... and here i thought it was an all-age anime..
 
Episode 18? I haven't got to that yet. I'm at 17 last week. Hmm... you mean Sebastian and that girl servant from the stupid church? If so, think some people said that Sebastian wasn't doing anything but checking where the smell came from. But I'll have to get to 18 first to know what rihoko is referring to ^^. Anyway whether Sebastian is or is not doing any of that, Kuroshitsuji is still a so far so good anime right ^^!

Kuroshitsuji sounds interesting. Ihaven't seenit yetbut it sounds likesomething that I'll checkout. Thanks for the tip.

As a reletive anime noob I'll just list what I really liked out of the few series I've watched.

The Twelve Kingdoms (no nudity or extreme violence, might be boring for kids)
Basilisk (very violent, not suitable for kids)
Chobits (mature theme, quite funny, not suitable for kids)
Munto (no nudity or extreme violence)
Someday's Dreamer (cute little anime, no nudity or violence)

There are others I like, but these are the best ones I've seen so far.
 
kuroshitsuji (Anime) is Great! but the Manga is more than that!! It's just Awesome!!! (not finished yet) ...

My brother is in LOVE with 07-Ghost, he says that it's one of the best anime series he's seen in his life!...
I Watched some episodes, and I think it is pretty GOOD! !
And now it's TIME for me to recommend... and I'll pick .. Pandora Hearts! *w* Oh gosh! .. the Manga and the Anime are AMAZING! ...

I recommend you read HANA TO AKUMA..
It's the story of an abandoned child adopted by a Demon..
As that child grew up, both of them fall in love w/ each other..

You should also watch Wallflower..
It's about turning Sunako into a beautiful lady..

 
New Anime titles

I just got into The Wallflower: It is about four gorgeous boys who live with a rich woman. In order for them to pay the rent owed to her, they must change a goth chick into a beautiful lady. It's very funny.
Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicals: About a girl who loses her memory and the boy who loves her enough that while knowing that she will have no memory of their relationship still goes out and collects her memory feathers through space and time. When watching, you'll recognize the names: Sayuorian and Sakura from Cardcaptures.
Ouran High School Host Club: Very funny! A group of rich high school guys with too much time on their hands create a host club for rich girls with too much time on their hands. A poor kid who stumbles literally upon them breaks a vase and gets suck into the host club. They think that the kid is a boy but she turns out to be a girl and of course trouble ensues.
That's all for now but I'm sure I'll have a lot more recommendations soon.

Folks, its time for the new Summer animes! I'd recommend Bakemonogatari! It is based from a light novel of the same name. If you like supernatural stuff with a hint of comedy and ecchi, then this is the right anime for u.

On another note: Ouran High School is the best! The first ever anime that I've watched. I'm trying to collect the manga now - costly... ugh...

Alright. Glad to see new anime titles popping up and here are some more:
Buso Renkin: This is about a kid who inadvertantly stumbles into a war between the Alchemist Army and humunculi. He then meets someone who is worse than the humunculi and starts to be hunted by the Alchemist Army that he has joined. It's hard to explain.
Next is:
Ceres: this is the story of a girl and her twin brother. They, on their sixteenth birthdays, find out that they are descendants of a celestial maiden. The grandfather wants to kill the twin sister.
 


But more importantly, he likes older girls with huge tits.
 
I agree with 07-Ghost. It's got be seated at the edge of my chair bursting with excitement every single episode!
 
I don't generally watch anime as I live in America and everything is filtered out, but I do love to read manga.
