Looking for a new Anime series..

I'm looking for an anime that are:

-with minimal to medium gore.
-Average to a lot of actions.
-Doesnt matter with the time setting, anywhere from ancient to futuristic
-no queerish character's design. (Prefer characters that look anime-ish)
-no cheesy storylines
-kinda new series..not like astroboy which is like 10 or 50 years ago..
-A lot of HOT CHICKS!!
-Genre...I like action adventure like Naruto, Horror is fine, sci-fi is fine too. I just want actions and violence =)

thats about it. Also give a short review of what the anime is about and a link to download the eps. Thanks in advance.

I want action and violence + no gore = hypocrisy
no queerish chara design = This means you're either a homophobe or couldn't find the words to what you should have said. Why not say you don't like Initial D fish people and similar stuff. "this is gay" = worst response a sentient being can make.

That being said, I suggest you go to a local anime club that has a showing every friday or saturday night, stay there a whole time once, and you'll find series you like, series you hate, pick after the test drive.

Just don't post any of your bigoted crap here. I don't care if society makes you say it, You know that's not what it means, so don't.

^hey shove it

this thread is old and nobody cares anymore

*raises eyebrow* first of all, this thread isn't that old and people have still been posting on it. Second of all, kintaro does have a bit of a point, even if he/she presented it kinda rude as well. And if you're gonna ask for suggestions and comments, don't be so surprised or take it so personal when someone offers it... :D and you're asking for a lot if you wanted people to give a short summary as well as a link, to save you all the work of finding it yourself, i wish everyone did that for me.

True, as there was absolutely no need for homophobic posting. Rules 1 and 3 of the forum. I find any word for homosexual when it DOESN'T refer to homosexuals necessarily obscene.

Of course, you could interpret my remark as breaking the "mutual respect" but I don't, I'll respect the community over one single user who I believe is in the wrong.

I posted giving you both something to take you off your pedestal (as opposed to dragging you on the floor) and a very valid solution to your pickle.
Now, here's what I didn't post earlier as additional points:
- Anime and manga have things called copyrights. I wouldn't ever want to drag JREF in the mud because of such requests.
- You not attempting to try to find sources is fairly bad. Searching for "unlicensed Anime" will often refer you to a certain anime page with a load of torrents.
- I find you lazy for wanting people to "make choices based on bigoted criteria and feed you the links or files directly" in one demand.

With that out of the way, you might just like Zetsuai :P

Queerish doesnt neccessarily mean homophobic

yeah, but it does have that connotation. queer means weird. that's like saying gay doesn't necessarily mean homosexual, but no one uses it's original meaning anymore. as for kintaro, does that mean you're against fansubs? cause all those shows have copyrights too. and speaking of pedastals, it sounds as if yours is ever so much higher than ours...

hmm, a cool new anime is Samurai Champloo. It comes from the makers of Cowboy Bebop, having the same "wierd" sort of action, but is set during samurai times (i think the tokugawa period). :D
There are only about 5 episodes out now, and from what i've seen, there aren't that many "hot chicks" in it, but it is still cool.

Are fansubs still violations of copyright ? Yes. Same for scanlations or mp3 collections of anime OSTs. As for pedestals, I don't need one (but I don't think you'd understand why even if I explained it). Besides, I can say I leech a shitload myself, but I don't ask on forums (in public) about them. Google is overly sufficient. There are fansubs I am against though, ones on series not only licensed but commercialized... and bad translations/massive errors in the text stream.

well all i know are 2 but i'll tell ya
-Soul Hunter
-Gungrave

See, it *has* been declared illegal, and the reason it is tolerated is that releasing unlicensed series, while feeding the masses of people who will never buy a disc in their entire lives... it also gets some (and enough to be profitable) people to buy the DVDs and other paraphernalia of their favorite series, whether manga, anime, artbook, or plush toy once they come out o_O

And some series/companies DO hunt down illegal fansubbers, especially if what they are doing has a negative financial impact. So while fansubbing remains a positive boost to the anime industry, once it becomes negative in parts (post-licensing, direct ripping of the full DVD in high DivX or full DVD iso's), they will attack those parts, as they do now. Once/If it becomes negative as a whole, trust me, the crackdowns will accelerate.

people who will nevr buy a disk in their lives? hmm. most people who I know with the resources to get fansubs have discs, and there are, of course, people like me who are broke and otherwise would have no access at all...

Yea, not everyone is taking advantage of free anime

"Full metal alchemist is quite new ^^; it is very funny and likable.....well....Gundam Seed 2 is new.....but I haven't seen it yet ^^"said dumb little Mackie ^^ ☝
