ok I just saw that anime I rented millenium actress and it is soooo good. You have to check it out. It's one of those anime where as many times as you watch it you learn something new or see it in a different way. I was crying for like half and hour watching it.

If not mentioned yet, Rurouni Kenshin. Outside of Chobits and GTO it's definately one of my favourites.
