FLCL/ Anime info needed

Hey Everyone! MY school had its first "Anime Club" meeting today
It was awsome! We watched the first episode of FLCL, which, even though I've heard of it, have never seen. Its incredible! Yet veryveryvery hard to follow! I was wondering, what Anime vids would u guys suggest I suggest?
Things that have been suggested: Chobits, Inuyasha(it is the show that never ends...), Cowboy Beebop, Marmalade Boy, Colorful...
There are a lot. Luckly, the Pres and Vis-Pres (and mostly everybody else) have loads of Anime!
I feel embarresed that I have no Anime Vids!

Thanks! Hmm.. tis one problem. I've seen pics. of OutLaw Star... we're really trying to not abuse our privileges.. considering its at a School.(hint hint). What type of Manga do u read? I read pretty much just Shonen Jump.

if your not trying to abuse privledges you should leave out colorful, outlaw star isnt bad, was even played on cartoon network for a time. colorful on the other hand is basicly lots of panty shots strewn together for no real reason. oh and the only nudity that is in it, is male, so yeah...

i would reccomend GTO, lain, love hina, rahxephon, saiyuki, amonst others. akira, ninja scroll and ghost in the shell are good but teachers may not be too keen on some scenes.

@Ichiro: Outlaw star isn't that bad, really, I agree with Jeisna wholeheartedly on that point.

For the manga bit, I like Saiyuki, Angel Sanctuary, Yami no Matsuei, Trigun, Outlaw Star. CLAMP's works, and so many more others! (Read 'em all, too. ) There is jst too much i've read, liked, and kept! *huggles manga collection*

Lain will work perfectly. One problem though: If you watchit and becoem addicted, yuo better finish the series. Each episode depends on a later or earlier episode, plus some misc. facts are subliminal. Watched it 4 times (entire series) to figure it out.

Ya.. I've wanted to rent ghost in the shell for a while!!! And Cowboy Beebop... Yesterday, I was allowed to rent a anime dvd, and I had two choices really after my dad was done reading the back.(Slightist bit of nudity/violince= no way), so I decided on the first 3 episodes of 'GateKeepers!'. Wow! Its not bad! Its good!
