sadly, i've never been to japan yet. a friend and me planned to go there for at least 2 weeks in autumn after we finished school this year. but because of some pre-university stuff we don't have the time.
we are seriously planning to go in spring 2010 though. i'm already checking out some hotels & hope that we'll finally make it next year. :-)

It' s a very big dream of me to go to Japan. I would like to receive my first "dan" there.

in fact, i have dreamed a few years to travel to Japan and it's likely that the next summer, my dream can come true. known as the first session, it'll likely be a simple sightseeing tour. and i hope that not the last one. :}

Since I was 13 I've thought about going to Japan and even planned a gap year out. I'm at uni now and although I didn't go for a gap year in the end (was much more convenient to go to uni first), I plan to head out to Japan for a year after my BSc and Masters :)

If I enjoy it enough and can really see myself settling down there, perhaps I'll go back permanently, only time will tell!

I live in Buenos Aires. I've been living in London, Rome, Paris, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca & Granada.

I've visited Japan for business,

I have not been to Japan yet, but intend to. It's one of my biggest dreams to see Japan.

I think everybody wants to move there or at last visit it once :D I have my special thoughts about it, and I'm not that person who would like to go there only because is beautiful and there are cute boys...but because I'm a scientist and after all there I have the posibility to show what I can do :-)

Looks like I'm in the majority here; I've never been, but plan to go there eventually.

I have never been to Japan, but I certainly intend to. It is a big dream of mine. I currently plan on staying for around a year or half a year as an international student at a university. Depending on my experience there I may return for another year, maybe longer.

My interest in Japan started when I saw Akira when I was aged about 14. From that point my interest snowballed and I studied Japanese History at university. I first visited Japan in 2000 and visited 4 or 5 more times before moving there for 2 years, when I met my wife. After a few years back in the UK, we've returned to Asia, but Korea, but I hope to be back working in Japan next year.

Having studied Japanese at a community college for a while I took a solotrip to Japan for 17 days in 2007. It was a great experience and I wish I could go back asap for a longer period to visit more places and taste more local food!

I lived in Japan when I was 4 and left when I was 9.

I hope to go back someday. Nothing but good memories.
