Your relationship with Japan

I live in Gifu. I have been in Japan over a year.

I am sorry you are distressed. What is the matter? Not sure where you lived before your move. I know it can be lonely if you don't have any family close by. I looked at Gifu on the map, it seems like the city was big. You must get out & look around. I made a big move once, & what helped me was getting newspapers, magazines that said what was going on in the area. I went to events & met people. My move was in the states, so there was no language problem, but if you don't speak Japanese, you could learn. Its not that hard.
Always look for the postive in everything, even if it is as small as a grain of sand.

i go there once a year at least. my girlfriend lives in osaka, and we're still thinking of our future. We're not sure we want to live in Japan or Europe. Until we take a decision, we'll have to share our lives between Italy and Japan

Well, both places are beautiful, but very different. A really nice thing is, your close to water in both places. I hate being away from the ocean. It somehow feeds my soul. In my worst times in life, I go to the beach, and it makes me feel better. If I could I would live on a boat, & never come to land except to pick up supplies.

I am now looking at the world, as which place is more stable, as far as jobs, safety, and being able to control your own destiny to some degree.
Things seem to be a little more scary & unsure these days.

but i'm planning to go there in about 1 or 2 years for some 10 days or so and a few times more to get used to it
i'm planning to come back there for some work experience at a german school in japan and then working there as a teacher and most likely to move there finally.

I live in the most expensive place in Tokyo (that's what I think peepz)..
I do study and some part-time jobs to survive....
I used to go to pool, jakuzi, steam, onzen during my free time (actually it's every weekends)..
I love bars around Roppongi (gaspanic, 911 & lot more (´・ω・｀)))~ ).. they plays lots of genre....

I was fortunate enough to spend 8 whole months in the beautiful country of Japan (Okinawa). Simply put, it was an amazing period in my life.

I intend to go there sometime in the next few years but before then I need to finish/start my GCSEs and A-Levels and then I am definitely moving to Japan, although I would like to go and live theer in the summer with a Japanese family and maybe do some sort of exchange in the future, I need to do lots of research and get more fluent in Japanese :3

I have not visited Japan yet. I have seen it thru documentaries, movies, stuff like that, but can't wait to actually be there. I spend alot of my time here in the states working, & trying to keep fit, since I sit all day on my job. Weekends I like to go to the beach , coffee shops, fun dance clubs, stuff like that. I saw on TV that in Japan they have alot of family bars that serve food, drinks. It seems like it would be very easy to meet & make friends there.
