You know you have been watching too much anime when....
all you think about, talk about and even sing (theme songs) anime and manga.

I'm guilty of this and much more. I'm going to Japan next year and wanting a job in a manga workshop.
 
you know you watch too much anime when you make your own sound effects as you go about your daily life, when you actually think you're an anime character, when you get pissed and beat up people who ask you, 'he's just a cartoon character, how can he be your future husband', when you start a 'help me to purchase manga' fund and seek donations form all your friends, acquaitances, negihbors, random strangers on the street...
 
You know you have been watching too much anime when you come to a store that could possibly sell anime, you find yourself in that department first not moving, just reading and rereading till dragged away by more then 3 of your friends......then find a way to ditch them and come back to read and reread again...till they find you of course...
 
you know you watch too much anime when you're at an airport terminal with another otaku and you both squeal with excitement when you find a mini bookstore with an extensive anime collection- and he's a guy...and you find nothing wrong with it!

when you delude yourself to thinking there is a store with an extensive anime collection at an airport terminal, and thinking there's someone else who's an otaku just like you at the same airport terminal.

when you have so little of a social life you don't think it's possible to have an anime section in an airport bookstore, you think that if there is one it's extensive, and that you're the only otaku in the world and would therefore have no chance of traveling with one.
 
You know you watch too much anime when:

You wish you also had a "super secret final attack".
When someone causes trouble you wonder if using the "Hiten Mitsurugi" style would be over the top.
When you spend more money in a month on anime than on food.
When you pay for cable, but you never watch it because your anime collection is more interresting.

um, my mom sent me to a summer program with $60, and i spent it all on manga...and i still have 5 weeks left at the program... *so broke*
 
I know I've been watching too much anime when....

I try to get angry so that plus sign appears on my forehead,
I long to have a cute Persocom like Chi around the house,
I wish the Mach-5 were in my driveway,
I dream I were a teenager again so I could be in Miss Yukari's class,
I save up money for a Hi-Def TV in the hope Video Girl Ai will pop through the screen,
I fantasize about dueling with Utena Tenjou, then doing the wild thing with her and Anthy! Yeah, baby, YEAH!
 
- when you dream for having all the anime girls' plush dolls in your bedroom.
- when you have the hallucination of someone from your fave anime calling out your name.
- when you wish taht your personal computer would dance around if it's in screensaver mode.

You know that you've been watching to much anime when:



you start saying "that it is" at the end of your sentences

you go out the front of your house in the dark to get the newly delivered newspaper and all of a sudden yell out at the top of your lungs the name of some sword technique and charge at the palm tree.....the newspaper being your only defense :box: :auch: :joyful:

you can't go for one day without imagining that you're that your interacting with your favourite anime characters

you wish anime guys/girls were real
you think you could become a huminoid typhoon if your mom can give you money (ive tried when ive need 20$)
your too busy to do anything with your girlfriend cause your hoping goku will win his next fight

Thats me. I'm broke from buying all my anime merchnadise and all the stuff i have put on my birthday wishlist has something to do with anime or manga (Love Hina manga, Lain Dvds, lain doll, how to draw manga books etc.).
I also have a picture of lain on the back of my homework diary
 
You know you have been watching too much anime when you attempt plastic surgery on your face to look like your favorite anime character.
 
when your convinced that the pictures and wall scrolls on your walls are looking at you and talking to you.
 
This is when.

When you spend hours upon hours on the net finding "How to read japanese" or "Japanese Flashcards" just so that you can understand original japanese anime without subs.

but none of them are quite what i'm looking for =/.. i want the one in your pic XD, or does the "slipcover" in the onegai series pillowcases mean the same as bedsheets?... because if it does, that is very much so what i want XD i'd love to have the one of the teach
