Im learning Japanese but ive only been learning a few weeks and I probably wont become fluent until ive ben in Japan for a while, I speak a little spanis and french but those lanuages bore me as they are so similar to English (No offence intended to French and Spanish speakers haha)

Unfortunately, I have still not been able to learn my Favorite Language Japanese... the school where I studied, never had Japanese as second language... I have not given up though and am currently using Pimsleur's Japanese Learning course, Its been good till now but Unless I speak regularly with someone good in Japanese who has the right accent and pronunciation I dont think I will ever get it right...
I never want anyone feeling that I am murdering their language...

I need to learn it fast before My Shotokan Karate Grandmaster Kancho Hirokazu Kanazawa comes to India again... There is so much I need to ask and learn from him about Shotokan Karate-do... More over if I get a chance to visit Japan I must feel as comfortable as I am at Home...

eventho i live in belgium (flanders) my french is a disaster, i learned it from mid elementary school to the end of high school but i never used it much after that..i find it weird to find a job in flanders/antwerp etc lots of employers demand that you speak french fluent whilst people in the french part of belgium are usually not required to speak dutch fluent when sollicitating... when you're in brussels 90% of people speak french and i always reply in english. haha

it's even a bit scary that more and more people who come to live here don't speak dutch too, when i think of immigrants in other countries, like say, japan, you have to be able to speak/read japanese before you can move there ? unless you marry someone there i guess. belgium should be more demanding like that too. ;-)
