I speak both English and Tagalog thanks to our education system. I can also speak a dialect which is also widely spoken in my country. When I was younger, say 'bout 9, I taught myself a little Spanish through textbooks but finding no one to guide me I lost what I learned somehow... *sighs* This time around I'm still trying to find the time to continue studying Japanese language.

My first language is Polish, but I moved out of Poland when I was 12 so now my English is better than my Polish. I also got grades A for German and French but that's pretty useless. I had no one to practice it with so I forgot most of it. My Japanese is at begginner level.

russian oficially, but ive become mediocore at it after being absent for 7 years. someone shouldsimplify the language, its way too difficult.
although i speak english better i couldn't call it my mothertongue.

The first language I spoke was Japanese, but now my English is a lot better than my Japanese, even though I was born in Japan, I look Japanese, and I live in Japan.

So I would say that English is my native language. Though I can speak Japanese, I cannot write in Japanese very well.

First swedish, then english. My japanese is lacking, only know a few words and phrases picked up from anime and such.



The asian language I would like to learn stands between japanese or chinese/mandarin. Other than that, I have for long had in mind getting to learn icelandic, which hopefully wouldn't be too hard.

Watching an icelandic movie with english subtitles is the most confusing I have ever done, BTW.

Well, my main language is supposedly English, but it sometimes lapses in Jerry Lewis gibberish - "Hi how are you? I am frueng gaa blechhh, fahva" and the like. ermmmm yeah. :? But I've also just started learning Japanese at a local community college. Hopefully I'll be better with that.

Kind of a typical American who speaks mainly english...
Although I'm fluent in Hawaiian "Pidgin". Which is a mix of Japanese, Chinese, Hawaiian, Portuguese, Filipino, Puerto Rican, English, and Dutch (I may have missed a couple) all having their native tongues rolled up into a form of english. (It won't make sense until you visit here)

And I know enough Hawaiian to at least fool the tourist.

I'm a native Portuguese and I speak English fluently. Sometimes when I drink too much, I can even speak English with a Punjabi accent (goodness gracious me!).
