Main language is English. Have no second language of as yet, though I learned some spanish.

I am a european mix. French for a big part, and the rest is germanic. I've lived in northern Europe for quite a long time, and I dislike very much living somewhere without speaking the local language. For me, it's been german, english, dutch, danish and norwegian. Sorry, but even if I had russian at school, I've been too busy with the other ones lately, I couldn't say much in russian now.

It was the first language I spoke as a baby, AND I said the F-word when I was 2......

Because he was your [F]ather ! :D

And also because you were very very angry at him you called him the F word.

And....

Привет Голго тринадцать 🙂
Рад тебя видеть. Как дела?

I speak primarily redneck!:D But I am told that my English is very good! I would have to say that my Japanese is about at a Kindergarden level, although many kindergardeners look at me like I am crazy when I speak to them! :? Must be my Japanese spoken with that slow southern drawl :hat:

I would just love to hear you speak Osaka-ben with your southern accent.

Alabama and S. Carolina did you say? Can't much more southern than that! :D

Ma langue maternelle, c'est le Franテァais, テゥtant donnテゥ que je suis Quテゥbecois, et ma langue seconde est l'anglais. J'espティre que le Japonais deviendra ma troisiティme langue."

Don't panic, here's a translation:
"My mother tongue is French, since I'm from Quテゥbec and my second language is English. I hope Japanese will be my third."

Impressive how there aren't differences between "language" and "tongue" in French. :?
Langue = Language
Langue = Tongue

Strange... :D

hmm

Whoa !! Everybody ride the multi-tongues wave !! :D
Gosh I've been surprized some of you have up to 4 tongues! 😲 :p

My tongue is only Arabic . maybe a little bit of English . I really wish I could have all the tongues in the world !! But if I could get to speak only Japanese , German and Italian , then I'm happy :-)

I speak English like I was born to, and Japanese at about a 1st-2nd grade level. I can read basic French and Spanish, but can't write or speak it.

My stepmother('s) tongue is Polish.

Arabic is my native language.. I'm not that good in English, but I'm working on it. I used to study Turkish but I gave it up for some reasons.. mmmm,, I know little Japanese, Italian and Spanish.. Actually, I'm counting on my Mexican friend to teach me Spanish.. :p

My mothertounge is German and I would say I'm almost native level in English.
I used to be quite good in Russian, but I had to think hard to understand what was written earlier in this thread - though the Kyrillic was no problem!
My Japanese is still very poor, 'cause we used to speak English when I lived in Japan.
I know a bit of Spanish and Dutch.

Yeah, it's really impressing how many languages you people speak!!!
It makes you think differently, when you learn another language - the more the better, I think! ;-)

The strange thing about being english the most spoken language is that this site is in english so if someone doesn't get a word in english, why would she/he read this thread?
