The Bummer and Rant Thread

I just Recently got a cold, it sucks but I put up with it, I hate missing school so even though I'm really sick I went to school anyways:atchoo:

@miki: i am experiencing the same thing too. im was ignored like the plague and i must admit it affected me so much. i went through times: denial, anger, acceptance. i never asked him why he was ignoring me. not because it might hurt me but because i just didn't think the question would be answered or that he would be affected in the same manner as i was.
when i was in the denial and anger stage, i'd disturb him by flooding his CP with messages. now i've accepted everything that had happened and have learned to let go. i still send him messages even poems (in both CP and email) from time to time and you know what, he would sometimes answer back... :-)
so i say, just learn to let go and be patient. if he wont come to his senses take what Uncle Frank said about recasting your bait with a grain of salt. just my two cents which hopefully makes sense... 😌
@The-Beautiful-Roses: i wonder the same things too. that's funny...

Thankyou i really thought he was unique but it looks like i misjuged his charicter

I caught a cold 2 weeks ago, the remnants are still with me. I have 4 vacation days remaining and as much as I would have preferred to stay home, I want to roll them over to next year for a longer Japan vacation.

I've looked and looked for the old one...it's gone. The paperwork said they can get the passport to me by the 19th so...I am still calling tonight.

Hmmm. I am assuming she got her replacement and is blissfully en route to the Land of the Rising Sun. :-)

I have homework over my Thanksgiving break, and I have to work on a critical paper that compares and contrasts works from the nineteenth century and the modernist period for my American Literature class. I'm having a hard time trying to come up with an introduction. And on top of that, I don't think I can get this paper done because I have a professor who is an a**hole when it comes to grading papers, but he never offers me any kind of constructive criticism on what areas I need to improve in. He just writes "You should take a composition course."

How is that f*cking helping me! Geez! That's not very constructive! 🔫 :banghead:

My heart goes out to you Ma chan...as I know of some profs like that, even at the school where I work. They tend to show the same attitude at the monthly meetings too!

Do your best to let your imagination and creativity flow...I'm cheering for you !! MM

So yesterday my cold got worse now I have a cough and a stuffed nose to it sucks:atchoo:

Mine isn't worse, it just lingers. I woke up at 3:30 am today all stuffed up. You have my sympathy and empathy.

@Ma Cherie: Im happy to know that Im not alone. My professors are all nice and friendly except for one pain in the neck. He gave us this programming project without explaining how to go about it like: what programming language and data structure to use. When we asked him for some inputs regarding the project, he said "Research on the net." Yeah right! I mean I have other subjects too and at the same time I work fulltime. *sigh*
So we made do with how we interpreted his project and he got mad because we didn't follow instructions. What?!? :?

I hope the colds get better...and good chicken bone soup, simmered for 6 hours with four garlic cloves cut in half, about 25 pepper seeds, and three bay leaves, will give a stock for tomato soup that will make you feel great the next day !!! The starting water should be 2 liters, and in the end, about one, but you'll have to add some along the way. Remove the bones, seeds, and leaves before making the tomato (or whatever) soup, but leave the garlic in...

My heart goes out to you too, sadakoyamamura san !!!

Hmmm well he still hasn't answered me maybe i'm waisting my time ;_;

I wouldn't mind if he just told me to p**** Off at least i would know where i stand but this is just cruel =(

aww Maes, i hope u feel better soon... :(

Miki : that's really rude behaviour  i would try and "forget" him... yeah i know it's not that easy  but...

@Kinsao: I totally agree with you. I don't really mind if a guy would tell me to back off. I mean I'm mature enough to handle such and I don't like beating around the bush.

@miki: Just hang in there and try to forget him on a daily basis...

I hate it when I have a sore throat. I have stuffy nose and a headache. I need to be fit because the Intramurals are just around the bend. I think I need to slow down with life... :-)

Goodnight Sensei.

Yesterday night,my over neighbour A very old but wise guy died.
He passed..and..Not the nicest way to go.
He had a lot of things to tell and say..and a wife dog and a lot of cats that loved him.
infact one of his cats was greaving in my garden today.
He was aslo my sensei,he taught me most i know about gardening.
Especially roses.
He taught me how to deadhead roses.
How to cut of a dying but still pretty rose,so the other roses can bloom just as nice as the old ones.
Because old life needs to go for new life.
I'll miss you,sir.

Ive been burning incense a lot lately to relax and well a few nights ago, I was going to hang out with friends I havent seen in a long time. Well, I put my incense on and sat it on the ledge of my bed. Well I put my mirror right over it so I could do my makeup. I don't know if all girls do this, but I usually lean towards the mirror to get a closer look at my eye makeup to see if its even and what not. Well I leaned towards the mirror and the incense was going straight into my nose. I didn't think it was that big of a deal and well...
Now im sitting at home... sore throat, nose stuffed up, and wishing I cracked a window when I lit that incense. My regrets towards stupidity.  :atchoo:

So my ebay account got hacked!!!!

:box: :angryfire

I get 49 emails from ebay for auction listing when I popped on MSN.
I am like what is this look at my ebay account and there they are with a fee of 150 dollars to boot. I deleted them all changed my password and notified Ebay of the whack activity.

I wasn't too worried since none of my financial info is update don ebay it's old as of april. But still I wish I could get the ip info of the *** and stick it to them real good.

Aww Tsuyoiko. I hope everything turns out the best for you, so you will feel good soon :-)
I feel like crap at this time of year every year actually. My father used to fight with us and make us feel bad every Christmas eve. Well yeah that's why i don't even like Christmas anymore. Luckily he doesn't live with me anymore.

She said no.

My Japanese girl spent 3 months saying no before she gave in, LOL.
Uncle Frank
Thanks. I'll remember that. It looks like I have a long haul ahead of me. Still, at least I have something to potentially look forward to!

Awww Mikawa I'm sorry to hear that. 😭 *hugs*
But yeah! keep persevering! There are all sorts of reasons why she might have said no that time, things could change for her. 👍
