Nahhh! Don't be ashamed! I'll be the first to admit that I looked like a gold plated fool, chasing a cat down the street in broad daylight. My only saving grace was that it was early in the morning and no one on my block saw me. Well, at least I don't think I was seen. Heh! And for the record, said cat wasn't tiny, but man, could that furball ever move!

Hummmm??

Wonder if it was a reincarnated relative come back to leave you a "message", LOL. As a cat lover, I have to admit I'm glad you didn't catch him. Hopefully 2007 will start on a better note then 2006 ended.

Uncle Frank

HA! Are you kidding? The way that alley cruiser was running, I couldn't have caught him/her/it in my bloody car! A reincarnated relative? Must've been one who didn't like me all that much!

:D

:D

Funny thing about cats, I have a fat 11-year-old gray tiger cat and she can still run like hell when she wants to (and pretty fast, too).

:( Well... I left my bf today, because i found out that he was cheating on me, when he was drunk. We had a really long talk and it was very painful. I still love him, but i can't be with him if he cheated on me.

= ( Ow Anchyyy i'm so sorry but remeber sometimes as hard as it may be to accept people make horrible mistakes

Don't through a person away for a mistake they may never make again the world was made of second chances and i would hate to see your heart always ache becouse you you acted on impulse through pain

Give yourself a while for the shock to settle and your emotions to clear before you decide to end things completly please

From what you have said about him he obviously loves you and sometimes it takes makeing such a bloody stupid mistake to make somebody realise that

Don't through every memory you have together away just like that let your head clear and make sure its what you really want

Actully i'm here for similer reasons why can't i find anybody AT ALL i try so hard just to find a nice boy who can become attached to but nothing works

I admit my taiste in men begins and ends with asian men but that shouldn't make any diffrence

I have been searching the internet becouse there is little people where i live and those who are here are much much older people but nothing

I either don't get answered at all or i get some pilock who thinks his my boyfriend after two conversations.....I'm lonley = (

Second rant VICTIMISATION (i bet i spelt that wrong) people who victimise againt people half there AGE becouse they see them as pathetic not only that but continue to spread that HATE and in doing so alionate and stunt growth

People should begin to realise that there are feelings on the end of there words and selfish narrow minded pig headed ridiculas mean opinions

And that they have no right to desise other peoples fun with there pesimistic misrible attitude

I tell you what why don't we all walk around in the same cloths with the same haircut thinking the same thing to please everybody else huh

Sorry for the third post but this one is about the forum

When one of our Admin made comments people didn't like he got a rain of fire

But there have been things said reciently but other people i believe to be far more offensive that have gone by without notice

I have begun to believe that those weeks of misery the forum was put through becouse of childish arguing was becouse of personal dislike not becouse of somebodys words or actions

OK i have got everything that was makeing me angry off my chest i feel better now ^____________^

um Sorry for all the ranting ^^;;

The thing is that he made it twice. That was the second time that happened! I got over it the first time, but now i cannot. As much as it hurts me, i have to go away from him.
Don't through every memory you have together away just like that let your head clear and make sure its what you really want
I still want him, but he obviously doesn't want me.
From what you have said about him he obviously loves you and sometimes it takes makeing such a bloody stupid mistake to make somebody realise that
If he would love me he wouldn't act like that. He now wants to beat up a friend of mine, because he thinks that's the reason that i left him. I never thought he would be like that. I don't even know him anymore! Where is the man i used to date? Where is the man that i love? :(

Yo, Anchyyy: Time for some tough love. It's time to kick this loser to the curb! Sounds like he's possessive, not to mention a flaming hypocrite since he cheated on you. Don't give this clown another chance to hurt you, emotionally or, even worse, physically. You can do better, you can find better. Break the chain and show that creep your backside! TODAY!!

Anchyyy i'm so sorry all i can say is follow your heart it will guide you in the right direction

'm geting that twinge that i wont be on this forum for much longer i can't stand the victimisation that seems to be brewing with a lot of members

i have encountered curtness and this eerie spitfulness in posts from moderaters and others for no reason and i have never encountered before

I feel like i'm being given the cold shoulder in places maybe its my imagination maybe not

it has also become quit obvious thanks to members that the music forum is going to be victimised into being nothing but drones

I also havn't skiped over what seems to be a delibrate witch hunt of the music forum

As the only person who has tried to protect it i'm exshousted from reading all the dislike towards the harmless fun the youth have there

I also have noticed the increased guarding of the most inofencive argument free childness free segment of this forum there is

I really loved this forum when i joined i really felt it was a community but i was wrong all i see is this coming marshal law

And i don't want to get cought up in the fray a place where children are not even allowed to be kids becouse of narrow minded bullys that twist and fray the minds of those around them is a terrible place

Maybe it will get better and maybe it wont maybe i'm over reacting *sigh* my pationce has run thin with this place

Everytime i come here my temper gets worse and worse and i don't want to loose it rant hurt peoples feeling and get banned so i think i will take a rest for a while

Lets hope i get the gusto for this place back sometime

Awww I'm sorry for your break-up, Anchyyy. :( *gives you a big hug*

... and a hug for Miki as well who has many rants lately. 😆

My only shadow of a bummer recently is that someone already nabbed something I want before I got the chance to get to it. But that's not exactly a bad thing, because, well, you know how sometimes what you want isn't necessarily what's best for you? Yeah, well, with me I think it's one of those situations. So perhaps it's for the best after all. :)

^^;; Yea just ignore me i'm having a rough time at the mo so things are anoying me a lot more and a lot easier....sorry

But if i don't have a rant i'd explode and thats worse than just giving my honest opinion in a way that can't hurt anybody....sorry

@Anchyyy: I know this probably sounds cliched from an old fart like me, but you are young and you will get over him. I agree with Jeff, he isn't good enough for you, especially if it is he 2nd time he has pulled this stunt. You deserve better.

@miki78: That is what this thread is for. Don't worry too much about the recent go at the music section. It will pass, but it can get you down.

@Kinsao: Sounds like you were sniped on ebay

Thanks Mycernius, Miki, Flashjeff and Kinsao. I will get over him when some time passes.

Today I found out that a really close friend of mine has cancer. :(
I don't know if it's going to be fatal - I bloody hope not. ☝ I don't think so... I think he's going to be ok... I hope so... but the worst thing is I can't talk to him about it because the person who told me doesn't want me to tell him he told me... if you get what I mean. So I can't mention it without breaking this person's confidence. :( And I'm also a bit sad that my pal didn't tell me... we are very close friends. :(

Not nice when you hear that. My Aunt has recently had an operation to take out two small lumps before christmas. Fortunately the doctors seem happy with the way the op went. Just some radio therapy and drugs to clear it up.
Some people just don't want others to know. I have known several people who didn't say anyting, even to close friends. Maybe it is his way of avoiding the issue. Hopefully he should be fine.

Strange in todays world.....

many people act like having cancer is a social disease they caught doing something bad? Many feel people will avoid them if they find out. Some just can't accept they really have it for a while and try and avoid thinking or talking about it. Others want to wait till all the tests are in and they have enough information before they tell those around them. A positive attitude seems to make a difference on over coming cancer and with some people religion and faith help them fight & win. Having a doctor you trust and feel good about is also important, search for one who is a good "coach" to train you for the battle. He shouldn't be afaid to travel long distances to try new treatments and doctors. Look for support groups of people his age who have fought and won over the same type of cancer, they make a good cheering squad. Not easy, but try not to worry about debt, you are fighting for your life, it's worth spending money on if you live a LONG life after beating the cancer. For those around the person with cancer, be a friend and offer all the support you can; know there will be bad days and worse days for both of you. There will be days the person wants to be left alone, but DON'T let them drive you away, they need support even if they don't want it. Good attitude and good medicine will pull them through and they CAN beat it.

That's good advice Uncle Frank !! One of my good friends from my days with the broadcasting episode was found to have cancer and didn't hide it at all--that's just the way he was. He did spend some on surgery, but didn't go as far as the doctor had recommended because, as he had told me, what would be the purpose of living and not beind to enjoy being alive to that degree--in so many words.

He went on for about three years and finally died of heart failure. He was a very lively person, very outgoing, and vibrant. If I were to develop whatever type of disease, I'd take action against it, yes, but not to the extent that I'd be living on a machine.

I hope things can work out for your friend, Kinsao chan !!

I found out later on that it is several brain tumours which are inoperable. :( They are treating them with chemo, and I have no idea what the prognosis is.

*Kinsao is stunned* :o

He still doesn't know I know, but all I can do is be there for him. :(

I feel for him...very much...and for you, Kinsao. It is such an indescribable emotion, I would imagine, to be in that state. I had an uncle on my mother's side who we lost with a brain tumor likely caused by shell shock during the Korean war. It was so sad a feeling to hear the story his wife told of how one day...after some time of experiencing certain things and before any diagnosis had been done...he asked himself, as if asking her, "What's wrong with me?" He had obviously taken mental note of his behavior which had created a number of scenes in the house and some concern in the family. So....so, I don't know how to word it. A person seeing that they have been forced to be what they would never have become otherwise, and having no control over it at all.

Please be there for him without creating any pressure by letting it be known that you do know; and if he tells you even, keep the foreknowledge to yourself. MM

Thank you for your kind words. T_T

^ yes and I will take your advice, the same thoughts as mine exactly.

He's only the same age as me... :(

OH...just sit on it!! Just kick it, throw it against the wall and see if it'll beg for mercy and straighten up !! BUT...alas...if you do that to your notebook PC, it'll probable never be anything more than the anger just released.

Well...I had practiced this past Sunday: it was a warm-up for tonight. My son had used his notebook to record, added a little hall effect and a very slight delay. Everything was fine.

Tonight my voice was in good shape, and a little whiskey to help clear the throat. I had gotten the opening rift worked out well enough, had brought over the mike stand from the dozo, and was ready. I waited for some 5 to 7 min. for him to set it up...BUT something had gone wrong. He couldn't get the file out. He couldn't set up the recording/mixer window or whatever it was...and now I'll have to record by a different method, and do something else to post on the Audio Blog Thread... WHY??? WHY now??!!

I'm not disappointed, I'M PISSED !!! My posting there was running late as it was...

Please give me some time to do something else or for him to get it working or whatever..... sorry. Mars Man

Guess I better retire from nursing now.

What a day, just spent 4 hours in the emergency room with one of my patients. For the first time in 12 years a patient got hurt while I was taking care of him. I left him on the curb to go get the car for him and a gust of wind blew him over. Got a bad bump on the head and some bruised ribs, nothing major thank God. My greatest nightmare has always been someone getting hurt while I'm in charge of keeping them safe. Now I will play "what if I had" or "I should have" over and over in my head and beat myself up mentally, I feel so bad. It was kind of a badge of honor with me, 12 years and no problems, now I feel like crap. When I got home, an E-Mail was waiting for me that a good friend in Florida had a stroke and is in the hospital. UGH!!! What a bummer of a day!
