Hi, anime noob here.

I used to watch some stuff on crunchyroll but I can't watch anything on crunchyroll anymore because I live in Japan.

Where can I see streaming episodes of whatever for free?

I just need to watch stuff for listening practice, so I'm not looking for anything in particular, but you know, as much as possible I would like to avoid the girly stuff.

Thanks

You can always try to google "[title] stream" but you will often find broken links and links to megavideo. The latter has a 72min limit, after which you will have to wait roughly an hour before you can watch it again. Even worse, it will cut the video midway if need be.
Another one is truveo.com, you can just search for the title here, adding the episode number. There are quite a few removed videos on veoh, old ones especially. Truveo in general is pretty damn good, especially if you intend to watch things without subtitles, as very often you will find subbed anime in various languages. Spanish, French, Italian mainly, apart from English of course. Also a few Russian fandubs. On truveo you will often find that an episode is chopped up into parts, usually 2 but sometimes even 3.
Another thing you can do is to search veoh.com directly. All the results there will be up to date ones, and will work 99.9%.

You will have to alternate, because there are a few videos missing here and there. Another thing, if you are sharing your ip with someone, or a group of persons very probably megavideo will be an unattainable dream.

There are quite a number of sites you can search directly, but I would suggest you use youku and wat for non-English stuff and imeem if you want English.

Im not sure if veoh can be used in Japan, but I remember reading about ways around their ip filter, I think even a plain proxy will work.

Since you are in Japan, there are places offering free anime viewing to the Japanese audience at Yahoo Japan:

The classic anime series are easy to watch and understand.

The most popular place should be NicoNicoDouga:

Just register and watch!

Hiroyuki Nagashima-san may have other recommendations, too.

Hi, thanks for the information already posted

I have a question about Crunchyroll, is there free content (even if with limitations, like just some shows, or video resolution, etc)??Id like to know instead of signing up before knowing

Is there any other with subtitled content for free (even with limitations)??

A convenient update, how come most of ATTACK ON TITAN Is available on Crunchyroll for FREE and I barely see anyone on the internet talking about it, like WOW!!!! Really it's ATTACK ON TITAN, wth

The link while its still up, and I suggest changing to Beta mode if this option appears, it is a lot better than the previous design and screen, feels like an actual streaming service now!Its better
