That's right, the biggest question in the anime scene: Do you prefer your anime subbed or dubbed?
I don't mind either one. If it's the first time I've seen something, I prefer to watch it dubbed, since I suck at multi-tasking and I'm gonna miss something cool by reading. If circumstances don't allow, however, that's fine.
It's anime! I enjoy it any way I can get it.
i prefer subbed b/c, it gives me a chance to learn colloquial japanese since most textbooks onlly give the teinei words.
plus, not to make be racist or anything, but japanese seiyuu are much more involved and into it than american ones who have to concentrate more on saying the words so that they fill the time it takes for the anime mouths to talk than actually putting emotion into it. take inuyasha for instance- the dubbed version sucks
