Anime movie on Kamikaze

Hi guys!

I'm looking for this anime movie about Kamikaze pilots. I saw an ad on the internet once, but I forgot the title and the site (okay, I can't read Nihongo so I don't know the title) But the cover was of a pilot in the cockpit. Camera angle was from bellow. He had on a helmet and peeking through is a bandanna of the rising sun.

Of course, I might've just imagined that. Or did an anime movie like that ever existed? I'd like to see it and would be glad if someone can direct me to it I need it for insights on my novel, since one of my characters will become a Kamikaze pilot

IIRC, Empire of the Sun had a kamikaze in it, but it was more about an English refugee in Hong Kong during WW2. Great movie nonetheless.

I drew something similar for my character. Even writing about him makes me all teary-eyed because before he goes into this mission, he is but a mere soldier, and the sad thing is, he falls head over heels in love with a girl who made him a man. He is but a minor character in my story but he still shakes me up inside.
