Hello to the wide world of Jref forums. I wanted to thank you guys for the good information found here.
I moved to Japan in September to study Japanese and teach English. I started writing a daily blog about my experiences to document what us foreigners go through here in Japan. Down the road I plan to add some helpful howto and more general interest items, but right now the blog is simply a daily record of everything I can force myself to write about.
If there is any reason to read my blog it is that I am currently studying at Yamasa. On my blog I am providing a verbose a picture of what it is like to study there. Before I came to Yamasa I really wanted to read that kind of blog and, save for Jonathan's blog, there really weren't many good blogs out there. So I'm throwing one more into the pile.

So thanks everyone for making these forums so informative, and now hopefully that "hey you're new!" banner will go away!
