It's about time I share some music I made with you guys :) also, I encourage any other producers to post their Japanese styled music here too!
I call it: ファイナルファイト!!

I don't know any better ways than Google Drive for sharing the high quality file, so

I have yet to finish a fully Japanese styled track, at least a good one... So it still has some American vibes to it as well, or nonspecifically cultured vibes. Most of my anime OPs/EDs are stuck in progress due to my computer being too weak to handle anything I add to it, or the track not being worth finishing.
Reminder: all the sounds are actually computer generated, not performed! This whole track was made by placing notes in a piano roll 😄 did the drums and guitar fool you? 🤔

Can't you share a low quality file? I don't think a high quality file will make much difference over PC speakers.

Well technically, compared to WAV, this is low quality, but it's just a high quality mp3 file... If I lowered the quality from 320 kbps to 256 kbps, there would be a noticeable difference, at least to me. 320 kbps vs 1411 kbps (WAV quality) is not far from different, but if you compared 256 kbps to 320 kbps, you'd definitely hear a difference I'm sure... Unless your auditory senses aren't properly aware of course 😅 and with the electric guitars and hi hats in it, I especially don't want to lower the quality, because they'll get ruined...

TL;DR
Yes, it makes a difference, and I didn't use even close to the highest quality possible, this is actually the lowest quality that can be played without causing any audible artifacts.

Also, it would take lots of extra time to export it again at a lower quality, when it'll only be saving 2 MB (5 MB if you really want to seriously destroy the audio quality, meme style) and the file is only 7 MB now, so I don't see a point in sharing a low quality file 😅

Sounds like real music. Impressive.
どうもありがとうございます!I'm glad you like it 😁 I try to make it as realistic as possible when it comes to these styles of music, however some people can still tell it's not real instruments being played 😅 nothing beats real players, so I still have a strong desire to meet up with Japanese musicians that can realize my music! Then it would sound even more awesome 😎

I primarily make more electronic sounding music or a blend of different genres which could be realistic and electronic combined
I even became so embedded in Japanese culture, that I made artcore DnB (a Japanese style of artcore) before I knew what artcore was 🤣 although it's a collab with my friend :)

I figured the electronic sound was on purpose unless there are some limitations with your equipment.

Well yes, it's both 😅 there are ways to make it sound even more realistic, but at the cost of even higher CPU usage that my laptop wouldn't have a hope of handling (think of it as trying to play GTA V or Fortnite or some highly graphical game, with 4 GB RAM and no graphics card. My computer is fairly decent, but the more realistic the music may sound, unless it's just pre-recorded, the more it will take even more CPU and RAM than these intense games)

So, I find a way to blend it artistically so it can have some realism to it, and sacrifice some of the elements to be more "synthy" as a means to strategically save on CPU without taking away from the main idea. I also frequently have to render everything out to reduce more CPU usage ✨

Had to do some finishing touches, but here it is! This is the most J-rock styled beat I've fully finished! I'm really happy to have been able to finish it, thanks to finding some less intensive plugins that still have considerable realism to them 😁

Hiroshima is a Japanese-American music group from the 70's and 80's. A lot of their music is koto music with a rock/jazz/R&B beat to it. (The idea sounds goofy but the music is good.) Here are three of their albums

I like the lyrics, "Ichi, ni san, shi, go go go!" at the end of the first song on this album labeled Go. (This is one of my favorite albums of all time.)

Very good, liked the harmony of piano and guitar 😀

The vocals melody and lyrics are done by others? Asking as a real noob about music
Thank you! I really appreciate it 😁
The vocals will be done by a japanese singer (not necessarily by blood but someone who sings in fluent japanese)
I'm actually in the middle of a dilemma about whether I should write the lyrics and melody on my own, or pay loads extra to have someone do it for me and then send that to the singer... It's all about money 😮‍💨 but I think I'm capable of some degree to writing the lyrics on my own if I have someone to revise my grammatical errors, so if anyone's seeing this and is open to helping with that, then that's the route I'll choose! I'll also pay $10 as a thank you, since people actually charge for this type of work anyway (but it's much cheaper than having them write the entire lyrics)
I could also write the lyrics in english and have someone translate it to japanese with a proper singing flow and proper japanese rhythm timing (I forgot the word for it, but it's similar to iambic pentameter, the rhythm used for many poems)

oooh, I will definitely listen to these when I get off work :) and the idea isn't goofy at all; I've done this plenty of times too (mixing traditional japanese style with pop, rock, cinematic soundtrack, trap, etc.) Of course I'm expecting their results to turn out better than mine though 😅

Turns out, I ended up just making the song myself and having it revised by Japanese natives on Discord! 😅 I will soon share the official release next month, which includes a VOCALOID version and a regular version!

Thats cool, Im so glad you kept it going and have updates (and actually big updates)..... I was close to asking about it in your other threads

And I like vocaloids too, really these updates couldnt be better tbh 😂
Hehe, glad to know you're interested in my music! I am very excited to release it, just waiting on the artwork, which will be absolutely amazing!!

Also, for anyone that comes here and reads this, I just want you guys to know this: my official name as a music producer is "DJ D" but my name as a person is Haruto, and although I boldly decided to share my music with you guys, I really don't want my personal identity to be connected to my music production (for various reasons), at least not yet, so I just ask that everyone keeps it in this forum only. It'll create complications if my personal identity is attached to my producer name. However, it seems there's no true way to 100% separate my different lives 😮‍💨

Good news! I recently created a track which I am most proud of. This one truly showcases my full skills, although it's not finished yet (I still need to mix it better, make it sound more realistic, and change a few things that aren't quite right, mainly the repetitiveness of the guitar in many sections 😅). This took me over 22 hours straight to make (only a couple 10 minute breaks in between), and as always, everything is made on my computer. I got a desktop which removed a lot of limitations from me, so I was able to make this track thanks to that too. So here goes!
「進化の道筋」

I put a lot of emotion into this one; how I feel about Japan is pretty much portrayed perfectly in this track. (As well as the song I'm going to release soon)

Also I decided from now on I'm gonna be posting the music stuff as my true music alias, "DJ D" on another account instead of this one.
