who wants to be a jpop star?

Jpop is a lot more hook-driven, and catchy, rather than driven on creating diaphram-enduced notes.

Have you noticed the sonic differences from Japanese and Western music? A lot of vocalists in Japan sing with a more nasal resonance, where as in the west, GENERALLY, its more from the belly.

actually this is not just limited to singing I think. When learning Japanese, or a Japanese learning English they have to learn new breathing techniques. What you said above is absolutely correct.

I'd love to be a jpop star. I actually sing better in japanese than in english too! Weird, but it's true. I can even do that high-pitched, anime girl voice. I'm not japanese either. But I guess japanese people wouldn't mind hearing from somebody not japanese try to sing in japanese lol. They're very nice and courteous people y'know.
I'd love to hear it sometime, if you've got anything of your singing that you can put online? :haihai:

oooooiiiii~ i would just love it!! i would love being a Jrocker!!! american Jrocker! well....i huess i wouldn't really be called..a JJJJJJJJJrocker ne more huh.lol.but i would sing in japanese.and wear costumes and makeup..same thing huh.lol.well.i also sing better in japanese than english.and i sing pretty good....some people say i sing almost like Kyo,with a girls voice of corse.lol 😊

Aww really? 😊
It really sucks though because I don't have any clips to give you.
Not really familiar with how to do it :?
But once I do get a chance to record it somehow, I'll make sure to pass it to you! :-)

hmm.. as i cant speak japanese, im wondering if it'll be good to sing purely in english.. but musicwise, play j-rock. would it be a good idea to do so?

I dont get it. If you are going to play 'jrock', but sing only english, then arent you just doing a typical rock band?

I think she meant the visual band kind of jrock. To a lot of people there's no distinction between 'jrock' and 'visual kei'. :|

im not big on being a jpop-star.. maybe a jrock-star.. X)..

but i play guitar and and some bass *ish better @ guitar thou*

i've also scribbled down tons of lyrics.. heheheh.. none in japanese.. (not yet anyways) (one iosh in german!!) XD

die from diru ish meh idol..

Now someone just gave me bad rep points for my statement about playing regular rock.

Thats so ridiculous, its funny. Good lord...
