What is your mother tongue ?

My mother tongue is German. And I learned French in school, but I forgot everything. And I also learned English in school... I think I can understand it without problems, but it's difficulty for me to say something. So this forum could be a good exercise place. 
And I try to learn Japanese.

It must be very difficult to learn French because I talked with some people on this forum who studied French in the past and they lost most of all and they stopped learning French because it was too hard for them.
The best way to learn French is to talk with French people and to practise and practise a lot. If you can't keep talking, you will loose French faster than the time you spent to learn it.

I'm supposed to be natively, a Creole speaker but never actually learned much about it(though I can speak a little). So my native language is English.

Also learned English, French and German in school but I can't speak any French lol, don;t even understand it
I can understand german, but I can;t speak well.
And hmm my English is sort of OK, I never practiced vocabulary so I don;t know many words.. I only use a few words in my communication, I know the meaning of more ofcourse, but just never use them.
My japanese level is 1 on a scale of 1000 I think just started

My mother tongue is Mandarin - dialects would be Hokkien, Teochew and Cantonese. English's my first language though ;D

Yay I'm a dumb American that can only speak one language fluently! Luckily I am moving to Japan where I can master my insane Japanese that my Japanese friends laugh at----. Oh well, I have speaking down pretty well but writing is soooo difficult why the hell did the crazy Chinese invent so many damn characters 0.- and why did the Japanese steal them?? =(

Mm, My native language is English. I also speak fairly well, Japanese, and Spanish. I learned Spanish in high school. Though Japanese, I have taught myself to speak it, by watching anime. (I did that during my high school phase, as well.)

I speak English. I wish I could speak Japanese. I sometimes sit at work and try and memorize Kanji...................but it's no use.
