What languages do you speak at native or near native level ?

I was raised in a Spanish/English home, Spanish have been my mother tounge, until I did something stupid, went to an English school, rather than a Spanish one, where I could know Spanish and English, rather than slowly kill my Spanish for being surrounded by English-speaking only people.
I am relearning my Spanish, however, and find it unbelievably easy to pick up on.. and I know enough German that I can hold a conversation (depending on topic) decently... I know a little Italian, Portuguese (probably because it's quite similar to Spanish), and slowly making my way to understanding Japanese (so far I know a few direction questions, greetings, and random words). On the side I am inventing my own language, something I came up with when I was bored..

swedish coz I am from sweden I can also speak english
and also a little spanish I'm studying that at school( puedo hablar sueco porque soy de suecia y tambien puedo hablar ingles y un poco espanol porque estoy estudiando en colegio) it seems like u can't post the ´and ~here lol it becomes for example: é oh well....
I also want to learn japanese and a lot other languages too but dunno a lot at all of that lol

My first language is Finnish, but I can also speak English and Swedish quite well. But my English is sooo much better than Swedish... I'm working on my German and especially Japanese.
 
Arabic is my mother tongue but I was taught in an English school from Elementary to High School so I'm pretty fluent in both. Learned French for 14 years but just speak a BIT and now learning Japanese!
 
I can Speek Spanish (Fluent), Portuguese and English. I speak a bit of French

I would love to speak Japanese ^__^
 
i speak english but i have mastered mandarian and spanish, a little german, and only some japanese. I am very intrested in other cultures. ^_^
 
Well since my father traveled a lot and had to put me in french schools since he knew french he taught me that language first but I'm not french. My original native tongue that I speak "so so" is kirundi [kinyarwanda's EXTREMELY close cousin]. I'm actually trying to find a teacher or correspondant. Anyone speaks it?
 
Alnobakaimun (abenaki: native language of northeast of America) was my native language. At five years old, I learned french, at 15 english and at 20, japanese.
Now I used french 95% of the time.

Indonesia, but i'm interested in japanese language so i'm studying it
 
My mother tounge is english but i can speak polish,german,and a bit of japanese.
 
My mother tongue is German, but I consider myself near-native in English (if not exactly on college level in terms of active vocabulary perhaps) and understand Polish perfectly but have absolutely no practice in speaking it.

I wish my Japanese was on the same level as my English.
 
French.
I learned for a time english (and still), italien, latin (never dead ) and chinese (mandarin).
I know a few words in Spanish and Japanese.
Well, I'll try to ba nearly native speaker, at least in italian and english. I'll have chinese basics for good once gone in Beijing next July !
 
My mother tounge is Spanish but I came to the US when I was 7 so my English "skills" are just a tad better than my Spanish ones
 
My mother tongue is English, but since my parents are spanish I understand spanish (But for some reason can't speak it well...probably because they talk to me in spanish but I answer back in English) and I am learning Japanese now.
 
My mother tongue is Dutch, but I'm pretty fluent in English. And I'm still learning some German and French at school. But I want to learn Japanese too.
I guess I like languages.
 
My native language is English and I took 2 years of Spanish, but that was 4 years ago so I forget like 90%-95% of it.
 
French is my native tongue, but I've known English since I was young and am considered perfectly bilingual.

I also took some German classes when I was 18, but seeing as I'm now 29, you can imagine how little I actually remember.

I also took Japanese classes back in 2000-2001 and am struggling to re-learn what I forgot. *sighs*

As an aside, I'm surprised at the number of Francophones, most forum I've visited are near English-only. This is quite cool.
 
I prefer the term primary language, because it changed several times in my life. I was still a baby, when I was brought to Germany. German was my primary language then. When I was 5 years old, my family sent me back to my birthplace in Slovenia, where I spent a decade with Slovenian as my primary language. I've returned to Germany and haven't spoken Slovenian for more then twenty years. However, I'm about to change my primary language again, because I'm moving to England.
 
I know some Japanese because I learned it in Kendo (I am still in Kendo) and I know a few words in Swedish other then that I can speak English very well.
