Nice pic Annubis, you've got a lot of lovely photo's on your blog as well.

Keep them coming :D

[snip] Don't they look happy! LOL

I've noticed that people can give some interesting and varied reactions in photos. Below is a shot from 1969 in the Philippines. The Flickr description goes:

Grand Nautilus bar: The guys are Mike, Bill (standing), Al, & CJ, same night as previous--CJ never objected to having his picture taken, but I don't think he liked having it taken. Bill looks like he's "seen the saucers".

Which Camera?

I don't go much on the guys but the girls look gourgeous:rose:

By the way, what camera did you use to take your below photo?

That picture looks like a great memory! I am sure there is a story or two to be told. :)

As I recall, we had gone out to celebrate Bill's birthday. The Grand Nautilus bar was outside the U.S. Navy station in an area called the Crossroads, even though it was not a crossroads! Before the five of us left the barracks, we listened to "Crossroads" by Cream on C.J.'s stereo. Ironically, by this time were actually spending little time at the Crossroads, generally preferring to make the hour bus trip to Olongapo, the city outside the former U.S. naval base at Subic Bay.

Ron took that photo. I was not with him on that trip. I stayed home to take care of our two senior citizen cats, Margo & Hemingway (both now gone) and to keep an eye on my elderly mother (who had to go into a nursing home less than two years later). The camera is an older type of Sony Cybershot (purchased December 2001) Ron would like a new camera, but hasn't decided what he wants. By the way, for those not familiar with that building, it is Osborne House, the summer residence of Queen Victoria of England. It is on the Isle of Wight, just off the southern coast of England. Osborne House is much larger than the photo suggests. There are many photos taken of and around Osborne House in that set.

OK, I found this picture from 2 years ago (haven't changed much since):

The story goes:

I met those three Dutch Comedians in a Berlin underground passage way, the two on the left and the one on the right. And we had some fun, plus they wanted to see more in Berlin.
Since I was on the way to japanese artist in the middle, to join into his Hiroshima-project, whose studio was in one of our spectacular old houses, that were used for all kinds of arts (incl. cinema and big garden), they happily joined me, and we had a great time there. They also joined into the Hiroshima project then, by the way.
Things happen. . .
I am the little one on the right of the Japanese. (We also happened to meet an older Korean artist friend short before. Its a very international house there, and they all go on very well with each other)

PS. the dutch friends just posted new fotos, you may like to join them through Europe!
See:

enjoy!

They are using this same mask for years now, and make fun in the streets, talk to people and make fotos about this, in many towns in Europe already, and document this. :-)

She has a long red horn on her front, while he. . .well, you can see it. I just laughed so much, when I saw this! (I like any kind of street theatre anyhow, and for long)

They also have some little videos on and usually talk just nonsense there or break borders in minds, also of gender etc.. They just share the fun, that they have with each other, with other people.
Don't worry, they are completely normal and nice otherwise, I would even say, sweet.

While I look smaller than I might be - but they were all so tall, that little me had to look up to them, while I was by far the oldest. . . they were just a cuddly bunch. Before this we all had a good round of something at a large garden table, together with the Japanese, where he also explained his project to them.

Just a nice sunny afternoon indeed! You would have enjoyed it too, GG :-)
