Here is me out side Hampton Court London when i was 3 years old. Apparently my father used to carry this one in his wallet.

@ Dream Time: Tons of asian people approach me asking things in their launguage, chinese,japanese, mandrine.... I feel so lost when they do that...I usually just respond in spanish or english so that they get the point..^_^;;;

It's funny though. Usually my reactions look like this when people of asian decent talk to me:

Question for you all...

Here's a thought and it's just a suggestion mind you, but would anyone be averse to me pruning this thread so that it is photos only? Out of the last two pages (36 posts not including mine) only 4 actual pics have been posted. I realize there are a lot of comments/discussion/etc. in-between actual pics so I leave it up to you guys.

If you would like to trim the thread down a bit or keep it just the way it is, i'm all ears. I just thought it might make the thread a bit easier to navigate in terms of actual photos for our members. The downside of course is it would affect your post count (for those of you who post frequently within this thread) once all non-pic threads were cut. Whaddya think?

Personally, I like following the conversations connected with the pictures. But I would suggest placing duplicate photos into our members' gallery so that they are easier to locate by themselves. Otherwise, I really enjoy the conversations just as they are.

I'd like to see more pictures.. I think there should be a little less talk and more action. So to put my money where my mouth is.... (I have a really grubby artist look in this picture, I had to finish this for a friend and did in 2 days straight.... )

im against pruning the thread to just pictures because alot of the comments are relative to them. while we do stray from the topic from time to time it always goes back to pictures and what we think about them.

To your question Samuraitora
Uhh the basic dynamic of the figure no, its done by Nobuhiro Watasuki. I copied it from a manga (but I freehanded it, and did the correct proportions without aid, so its not as simple as you would think it was.) The colors and shading for the most part yes I did paint those.
This is an older photo, this painting was the first in a series of 3 that I did, the next 1 and a half (the other is not done) are my designs. The next one was decenty good, this one surpassing. I'm hoping the next one will at least equal this. I did this one a test piece to see how they would turn out because a friend of mine used to do a similar composition with modern day people that he created (he is a manga artist). They are all Shinen Gumi from kyoto , the the one in the photo is supposed to be Saitoh Hajime, and the final panel, Okita Soujiro.

I hope the next one turns out as well too...That was excellent. Give yourself some credit...doing things free hand, even from a existing piece, is difficult.
