I have been playing basketball for hours almost everyday since when I was 9 years old (but I almost completely stopped playing for about 2 years until recently)

so I started about 8,9 years ago,
I started playing basketball because I read the comic Slam Dunk,and I was (still is) deeply inspired by the comic

but still I am only 5'8,I guess it is due to my heritage
and when I was a kid I liked to stay up at late night to playing video games........

Slam Dunk is a great comic,it created a basketball wave in Asia,especially in Japan and China,
basketball is never a big sport in Asia,
but this comic made many Asian people started playing basketball

now we are seeing more Asians in the NBA

Yuta Tabuse,a Japanese guard around my height,signed with Denver Nuggets,he led his high school to 3 consecutive championships in Japan,and then played for a Hawaii college team
