My comics about Japan

I always fall for these things...

After ten years in Japan I'm still perplexed over fruit prices, in particular grapes, peaches and cherries. Here, they are infrequent luxuries in our daily diet. I hope that TPP will at least result in cheaper alternatives for consumers.

When is TPP going to come through? They talked about it since I went to Japan in 2010 and were still talking about it when I left last year.

I thought Japanese fruits were over priced but now that I am back in Singapore, I realised that fruits here are also very expensive because we import almost everything. Fruits from China and Malaysia are the cheapest but I am uneasy with produce from China...

The comics are excellent... you certainly have talent.

Thanks for the blog link also ... good reading with lots of top photos.

They do like their shortenings, don't they :)

Shortening.

"Baby Car" is just a car for babies, not a contraction of "baby carrier". Quite honestly, if I heard "baby carrier" I would never imagine anything with wheels. That would be a "stroller" or a "pram".
