I have a theory that the two are connected by some vast underground cavern, where jrock plays continuously and it is populated by an endless partying crowd............. *dreams*

to be in 'drag' would be for themto be really embelishing the fact that they're guys dressing as girls.... with hidiously over dramatic makeup and amazingly drastic outfits - not like the VK style..

No, wait, actually not. I think Hyde is more girly than Mana; Am I the only one in here who doesn't really think of Mana as a woman or very very feminine? I think of Mana as Elegant. Mana is just elegant. I never think about him as a he or a she. Just a perfectly dressed up person with good make up. ( I don't mean to say I don't like him. I do. )

I don't understand how a guy dressed as a GIRL can't be girlish. I mean it's not like he's got a full on beard and all he did was throw on a dress and is clearly one hundred percent man just in a dress. He looks "girlish". And if not I'm curious to know how you would describe. him.

There are plenty of women with define cheekbones. That isn't a characteristic strictly for men.

Anyway... I'm glad some of you agree to a point that he belongs in here.

:? Actually I don't agree. Even though that pic is... perhaps the most hideous of him - I've never seen a pic of Aya without make up that has been handsome. And I like Aya, I really do! He's the cutest! But... without the make up, he's just someone completely different...

and... Horizon, there is NOTHING wrong with Drags, you're quite right... but Kagrra, are NOT drags and as they are centered on a pretty much 'comical' appearence (as originally that was their 'act') i just find it worrying that people would say Kagrra, are a bunch of Drags Queens.... that's all....

i recently read my initial responce to seeing my first pic of Aya.....
it was something like
he's a VERY convincing girl... infact, i had to chek twice
- i actually remeber making this, and i had to double check to see if i could find any solid indication that he was indeed a guy
at this time, i was new to VK and, altho not new to guy's dressing as girls, didn't know that in general there are very few females in the Jrock biz....

but now.... i don't know... i look at him and see Aya.... that's all...

Mana, however, i know i thought was actually a girl for a good long while, because bfore i knew even the slightest about Jrock and was looking up Pura i saw a pic of him...
then aaaaaaaaages later (i think i'd just discovered Gackt was a member of MM ) a friend was talkin about him and said 'he'
then it clicked that i'd never gone back on my initial idea because i hadn't seen other pictures of him since then

but... yeah... the thing that makes VK artists different from the drags is that drag's play on the fact that they're men dressing up as women... where as in general VK artists just wear pretty clothes (and in general girls clothes are prettier than mens, yes?) and wear makeup... they just have that... um... what ever you call it that babys are - where they neither look male or female - and cos they're wearing them clothes they tend to look like women....
