where about in england? i'm there too... there's actually quite a large jrock fanbase here... it's in general tied in with manga... like, at aycon this year, BLOOD are playing *is so excited* and i'm REALLY hoping my friend can get enough together to go see them... cos i'm not going without her >.<
yeah, two guys better than one... i guess that works.... that and in generally... it's good to see two hott things together.... (or three in gackt's case XD)

I more or less rely on downloads so I tend to just have a handful of songs from a range of bands rather than *everything* from one or two.

How do I take those screen caps? (or whatever they're called, when you make pictures from a video clip?)

I think the only programs that let you take screencaps are quicktime and div-x ...but it really depends on the video. Some videos still aren't compatible even if you play them in those players. Basically just play the video in those and press the "Print Screen/SysRq" button then paste the image in Microsoft Paint and crop it. That's what I do.

there is a cunning little tool in paint shop that alows you to do it for >nearly< all progams... there are some anoying ones that won't let you...
i haven't tryed it with media player yet, but i know it works for real one... just real one's reeeeeealy bad.

I'm still trying to figure out how to do screencaps from dvds. I could just rip them on div-x but that would be pointless for a a few screenshots to wait for eternity to div-x to rip the whole damn dvd
