Konbanwa from New Mexico in United States! I am new to this forum. My half-sister lives in Kashiwa, and my nephew in Kanamachi.
My new grand-niece, ヒ???ーi (Anna) was born in Tokyo Red Cross Hospital in August. She is from the House of Kuroda.
I will enjoy meeting all of you!

Travelling that far isn't cheap so I ahev to wait at least four years, I plan to go one or two months, even working there to pay my stay :).

Like the majority I've never been to Japan but I intend to
It's one of the places that I really want to go to along with Egypt
:)

I've only visited for a short time.

"I haven't been there and don't plan to." Why are you on this forum?

Going to Japan is one of my life-long dreams. Sadly enough, I don't have the funds because of my crappy job. $220 each 2 weeks minus dinners, gas, and bills plus I'm going to school to get a better job.

Although my friend is going to Japan because of Navy duty.:auch: But it is nice since he's getting my a sword as a present, 👍 so it's cool.

I haven't been to Japan yet, but I plan on going after University. I plan on getting a Masters in Geography, and a minor in Japanese. So, when I go, I can either be a Geographer, or teach english in one of the schools. Knowing me, I might just do both.

I have not been to Japan yet, but intend to.

I havent been to japan yet, but i hope one day i can go visit japan and live there for a little while and get to know people there too. =)

Im gonna go there as soon as I get out of college, or maybe even during. Hopefully.

I live in Malaysia, but I'm part-Japanese and I have relatives in Japan, so every now and then my family goes to Japan to visit them. Sometimes my parents have to attend medical conferences there, and when they do, I tag along... if I'm on holiday. I was an exchange student (under AFS) in Nagoya for six months as well, I had a GREAT time there :D Also, because I used to be a gymnast I used to get to travel to Hakodate once every two years for a friendly competition. I'm not a gymnast anymore tho. :(

I was stationed at Yokota AFB, in the 1980's. I enjoyed my time in Japan and like riding on the trains there. I saw alot of Japan during that time.

I went for months~~! We lived in Tenri, close to Nara, that we could walk to Nara Park in about less than 20 minutes.

We took subway trains [is that what they're called?] to Kyoto and Osaka, and many more.

The subway system was, two trains pull in at the same time, then one leaves in the opposite direction.

We went train-hopping from Tenri to Nagoya. [Which took us, like, over 3 hours to get to.]

It's really a great place. If you go, have fun~! <3~

Several times to Japan, always in Osaka. Of course I visited many other places in Kansai! I try to go every 6 months at least, because my girlfriend lives there.

Anyone like scuba diving? I am writing the biography of the man who started the dive industry in Truk Lagoon. Truk was in the Nan'yo Gunto - Japan's "south seas" until after the war.
I am looking for information about Boken Dankichi, comics drawn by Keizo Shimada that appeared in Shonen Kurabu (Boys Club) magazine from 1933 to 1939. I would love to obtain some of them.
